Jaime Pressly on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno
Pregnant actress Jaime Pressly appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last Wednesday the 21st. She’s expecting her son Dezi James on May 13th. Some highlights from the interview:
- Jaime sleeps with four or five pillows because she’s so uncomfortable.
- Her baby shower is coming up, and it’s co-ed. They’re serving Cuban food for her fiance’s heritage, Southern food for hers, and lots of drinks – except for her, she said!
- Jaime spoke about the cast of her show, My Name is Earl, finding out about her pregnancy very early on because she was, as she put it, so bitchy! They figured out what was going when they noticed her sudden food cravings.
- Jay gave Jaime lots of ‘white trash’ baby gifts geared towards her character, Joy. Jaime seemed to get a real kick out of them – even the ‘astronaut diapers,’ a play on the news story for a few weeks ago!

I caught part of the interview. She talked about her upcoming baby shower, which was to be co-ed, and how it was basically going to be a big party with lots of Cuban food and drinks (except for her, she said).
She also talked about how the cast and crew of “My Name is Earl” found out about her pregnancy early. She mentioned how she was being really moody (or “bitchy” as she put it) and someone on the crew finally put two and two together when they saw her sudden cravings come.
That’s all I really remember, I know there’s more to it if anybody else can fill in the holes…

I missed her appearance. Well, damn. But I love what Jay gave her in terms of baby gifts, LOL. But at the baby shower she can always have a round of mocktails.
I sometimes think those taste better than the real thing.

Jaime announced at the Golden Globes this year, or the Sag awards, that she is due with her baby boy May 14th. I think she looks great!!
