Whitney Houston to daughter: Shut up, and by the way happy
Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown celebrated their daughter Bobbi Kristina’s 14th at Mr. Chow’s in Beverly Hills on Sunday night. Bobby spent the night going back and forth to the bar, drinking shots with his bodyguards. To top it off, Whitney apparently yelled at Bobbi Kristina to "shut up" as they were leaving the restaurant. Happy !

LOL, I don’t see anything wrong with that. Her daughter’s 14, and from what I’ve heard, kind’ve a wild child. Whitney’s a mom, and just like any other mom, she was probably just frustrated or had a headache. I can’t even begin to count the many times my mom told me to shut up when I was a bratty kid.

Great, Bobbi will pick up some good habits
from her father.

Wow. I can’t believe she is 14. I remember when she was a baby. That is crazy. I am sure that Bobbi Kristina was just testing her mom’s limits. Kids are good for doing that.

telling a child to “shut up” is not necessary. You can say “be quiet” and it means the same thing. “shut up” sounds harsh and demeaning. I thought Bobbi Kristina lived with the grandmother??? Not that her parents shouldn’t see her on her bday, but Whitney has got an even worse track record than britney and Bobby Brown, well…enough said! Poor kid! Too bad Whitney and Bobby can’t get themselves together.

Tink, you must not be a mom! “Shut up” is sometimes very necessary – not nice, but necessary to get your point across! I don’t fault Whitney for that; who knows what Bobbi Kris said to elicit that response?! We shouldn’t judge…
