Supercross racer Ricky Carmichael welcomes twins as he ends career
Ending his illustrious supercross motoracing career may have been bittersweet for racer Ricky Carmichael, had he not had bigger and better things to look forward. And on March 16th those things became a reality, when his twins, a boy named Kadin, born at 3:31 a.m. and a girl, named Elise, born at 3:33am, were delivered by his wife, Ursula. Ricky says knowing his children were here enabled him to run his last, and according to him, his best race.
That was a ride of a lifetime. To be a great motorcycle racer is one thing, but I want to be remembered as a great person.
