Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are “empty nesters”
Kurt Russell appeared on The Tonight Show last night and gave an update on his family. Now that all of their children are out of the house, he and Goldie Hawn are "empty nesters." Kurt spoke proudly of Oliver and Kate Hudson and their current and upcoming projects, but even more so about his youngest children, sons Boston, 26, with ex-wife Season Hubley, and Wyatt, 20, with Goldie.
Boston got accepted to a PhD program in Santa Barbara, which is really the big thing in our family right now. And Wyatt’s finished playing junior hockey up in Canada. He’s been up there five years. Now he’s going to go play in a university down in Alabama.
Kurt and Goldie had previously relocated to Vancouver to support Wyatt’s hockey career. They also may not be empty nesters for too long as it was announced last week that their daughter-in-law, Erinn Bartlett, is pregnant, which would make the two grandparents for the second time. Their first grandchild is, of course, Kate’s 3-year-old, Ryder Russell Robinson.

Love this family. Goldie is a good actress, and I love kate and oliver hudson too.
