Jennifer Love Hewitt debunks pregnancy rumors

Jennifer Love Hewitt assured Jay Leno on The Tonight Show last night that she and her boyfriend Ross McCall are not expecting a baby together. Jay felt compelled to ask Jennifer after he was approached by a employee at a Bob’s Big Boy restaurant wanting to see if Jay had any scoop on the speculated pregnancy, sparked when the Ghost Whisperer star was photographed wearing a flowy empire waist dress. Jennifer says the rumor has been going on for four months, prompting Jay to say, "So you’re four months pregnant?" The actress responds,

No, I’m not pregnant. I apparently had too much to eat that day when they took my photo.

After being showed the photograph, Jennifer agrees that she does appear to be with child, but she is "so not." However, she already knows how she will announce it when she does get pregnant.

It does look a little pregnant. I probably just had a hot dog or two. What are you gonna do? I’m so not pregnant. I’m so not, but when I am, I’m gonna tell the guy at Bob’s Big Boy so he can break it to you.

While the Jay laughed over the ludicrousness of the man asking him, Jennifer says she appreciates the curiosity.

He was concerned about the baby…but there is no baby!
