Molly Shannon gets creative with games
Molly Shannon made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and revealed how she and her kids, Stella, 3 1/2, and Nolan, 2, with husband Fritz Chestnut, have fun at home – they play pretend. The actress says she makes up a lot of games and characters to entertain her children with, especially in the winter when they’re stuck inside their New York City apartment. However, the fun is not just limited to the indoors.
We make up a lot of stuff. I pretend to be a very fancy mother who picks her up from school. I put a scarf on my head and big sunglasses and high heels and I’m like, (in a British accent) ‘Darling! Mummy’s here! Come to mummy!’ Then we go, get into the car and we’re like, ‘Let’s go to the toy store! Let’s buy candy!’ So she always asks me, ‘Mommy, can we play that game where you’re that mother – that fancy mother?’
Nolan is included in the "bad twins" game, in which Molly pretends they’re misbehaving twins.
I’m like, ‘You twins! Why are you so bad?’ And they just act really crazy and I chase them around the house.
Do you make up games and stories for your children?

Ha ha! That seems a little too creepy to me, but I have to commend her on her creativity!

What a cool Mum!Little Kids love that stuff, and i’m sure she’ll grow as her kids do and will do the cool things mums of teens do too.
