Rumor: Liev & Naomi to move up wedding

Tags: Rumors

Page Six of The New York Post is reporting that celebrity couple, actors Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, are planning to wed sooner than they planned.  The two stars, who had originally decided to get married after the birth of their baby, are now trying to have the ceremony before the baby arrives. Naomi is expected to give birth toward the end of the summer.

Although Naomi’s rep declined to comment, one insider told In Touch that the couple will make it official very soon in a low-key ceremony.

There’s not enough time to plan a big wedding. They’ll have just 25 guests for the nuptials in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, with a lavish wedding reception for all their stateside friends after the baby is born.

I abhor the term “illegitimate” it should be stricken from ever being used in terms of a child.

  2. millie Says:

This item sounds so bugus. First of all, I don’t see either one of them worrying about “legitimacy” of their baby. Second, Liev is stuck in NYC until the end of June and has no time off from his play to get married in Sydney.

  3. Aura Says:

I agree with the other posters. I don’t think it’s right to use the word “Legitimize” in this post.

Sarah’s note: I also agree, and have edited Nisha’s post. She was quoting the NYP, who said, “Naomi and Liev have decided they don’t want their unborn baby to be illegitimate” – I am sure Nisha did not mean to offend.

  4. millie Says:

I know it wasn’t Nisha’s idea, many sources mention “legitimizing” the baby in the title. Very annoying.

  5. Diana Says:

Sarah, thank you for removing the word “legitimize” from the heading. I too find it degrading and believe the word in no way should be used when referring to a child.

  6. Nisha, CBB Senior Contributor Says:

Hi Guys, I am sorry if I offended any of you with the word legitimize, as Sarah said I was only using the information provided by the source! Thanks for reading the site and sharing your thoughts with us!!:)
