Chris Daughtry wants to bring his family on tour

Chris Daughtry has made no secret of how much he misses hisfamily, wife Deanna, and kids, Hannah, 8, and Griffin, 6, when he’s onthe road, saying that is the number one con of his life as a rock star.

Nothing is the same anymore. The only thing that isstill the same is that I still have my wife and my kids. This is whatI’ve always wanted to do so I’m not complaining at all. With any job, there is something that sucks about it. The thingabout this is that I don’t get to see my wife and kids. This is thefirst tour, so this is how it has to be as far as touring conditions go.

As he is finding more success and selling more albums day-by-day, the former American Idol finalist hopes that translates into a bigger budget for his next tour sohis family can join him.

This isn’t the type of tour for kids to be there. Maybe on the next tour when we are in bigger rooms they can be there.

Distance only makes the heart grow fonder for Chris and Deanna too. He says they have only gotten closer now that they’re apart.

I think me and my wife are closer than ever now thatwe don’t see each other. I try to talk to my kids as much as I canthrough the week. We are doing the best we can throughout the week.

   I sooooo LOVE this man! I saw him last weekend in concert and let me tell you it was AWESOME!!! He seems so family oriented and seems to love his wife and kids so much. Heck, if my husband were on tour I would definitely hire a tutor and bring them on the road too!! So we could all be together. And it gives kids such an experience traveling the country. Keep up the great work, Chris!!

   Well, what can one say? It’s a beautiful thing that he’s so open and honest about his love for his wife and step kids. It makes him sooooo much more attractive. (Let’s face it, he’s HOT!) I’m sure that with the success of his first album, “Daughtry” he’ll be able to bring his family with him for at least part of the tour.

   I think his next tour will be THE ONE!! Like he said, the rooms are too small for his family to come along this time. But, from the looks of the crowd at the concert I was at….he’s HERE TO STAY!!!!
