Geri Halliwell celebrates Bluebell’s christening
Bluebell Madonna Halliwell, 11 months, was christened earlier today at St. Michael’s Church in London. Mom and daughter, who clutched a bouquet of her namesake flower, posed after the ceremony. More images available at Splash News Online.

I remember reading somewhere that Bluebell’s godmother is Victoria Beckham
Yup! Here’s the post –

Aww! Bluebell is soooooo cute! Happy christening baby girl!

Like her or not, you have to admit she looks fabulous there!
Bluebell is a cutie, too.

I think Bluebell looks a bit like Shiloh!

Bluebell looks like such an old-fashioned baby, like a baby out of an old movie from the 50’s. I love old-fashioned looking babies, they just look so huggable.

Love how Mama’s dress matches the bluebells…and that baby is just adorable!

I just can’t support Geri Halliwell, she is deliberately keeping this child away from her father, what poor parenting. Poor baby – I hope she grows up, turns around and says ‘where’s my dad?’.

I agree Ava, she does look a bit like Shiloh! Bluebell is so round and chubby-cheeked and adorable, like a doll. I love that pout she has in the first picture.

How has she kept the baby away from her father? I had heard he wanted nothing to do with the baby, and that Geri was raising her by herself. And in a addition, how do we know the baby never sees her father? The paps aren’t there 24/7.

I agree, Bluebell does look a lot like Shiloh. Maybe not so much in the second one, but the first one had me thinking she favored Shiloh quite a bit.
But she and Geri both look great in the photos. I love the dress Geri is wearing.

lillie: None of us know what the real details of Bluebell’s life are. Tabloids and occasional pictures from the paparrazi don’t tell the whole tale. And I’m sure Geri will survive without your support.

Bluebell looks very pretty! I’ve always thought that she looks like Shiloh. She looks like her mama too.

are you having a bad day Grace? Please stop attacking people – that’s two bitchy messages you’ve posted on this board I’ve noticed today, and I haven’t even been into every thread.
April 23rd, 2007 at 11:33 am
I noticed that too Lanie, especially since she’s done the same thing to me in the past in addition to numerous other posters.
April 23rd, 2007 at 2:03 pm
Both girls look so beautiful! I love the color of Geri’s dress, very pretty and a very appropriate color too. Bluebell’s christening gown is just lovely.

lanie: I have not posted any “bitchy” comments on this board. I was merely defending the celebrity that you were trashing. Same goes for you Lauren. I find it ironic that you both think it’s okay to write incredibly snide things about celebrities that you don’t even know and yet you’re accusing me of being bitchy for defending them. How hypocritical.
April 23rd, 2007 at 5:55 pm
Grace – I’m not sure how my statement that I can’t support Geri equates to “trashing” her, but, we are all here to comment on celebrities whether our comments are positive or negative. Directly attacking other CBB members isn’t helpful or necessary. There’s often comments I don’t agree with here, but I don’t go calling the people who write them ’sad’ just because I don’t agree. I address the comment and state why I agree or disagree – I don’t attack the person commenting. That’s just immature and says more about you than anyone else. Maybe you should think about it.
April 23rd, 2007 at 8:05 pm
lanie: You (using the name lillie for some reason) accused her of keeping her child away from her father (when you don’t even know the whole story) and you called her parenting “poor.” How is that not trashing. And I did not directly attack you, I said that “no one knows the whole story” and the Geri will survive without your support. There is no part of that statement that was an attack. You, on the other hand, attacked my post and called it bitchy. If you don’t think other posters should be attacked in this comments section you should stop doing it. I’ve disagreed with people’s posts, but I’ve never attacked another poster the way you did to me.

I use both the names Lillie and Lanie, for reasons I don’t need to explain to you.
I think we are going to have to agree to disagree. “Geri will survive without your support” – to me that reads as sarcastic and bitchy – I don’t see any ‘lol’ attached.
Or did you intend that to be polite and friendly? How? If someone attacks me first I will respond. You are right, I don’t know these celebs but neither do you. I’m entitled to my opinion without being attacked for it – feel free to state your agreement or disagreement, but stop attacking people personally – I’m not the only one who has noticed you doing it. Cheers – I’m done with this conversation, better things to do. Enjoy your week.
April 24th, 2007 at 12:42 pm
lanie: I never asked you to explain why you use two different names, because I don’t care, all I did was point it out. And I never attacked your post. All I said was that Geri will survive without your support, and no I didn’t put LOL after it, because I wasn’t kidding. It was a simple statement of fact that Geri will be fine without your support. There was nothing bitchy about that. However, you calling my post bitchy WAS an insult. It’s very hypocritical to insult someone who hasn’t insulting you and then accuse them of being bitchy. And I guess there’s no point in furthering this discussion since you can’t admit to what you did.
