I thought this blog was about celebrity kids? Why another Cameron Diaz post about how she’s not having one?

? She’s talking about children. CBB covers a wide-range of topics including fashion, gear, etc, not celebrity children only.

For some reason it irritates me that she calls herself a mother when she’s not. That’s just weird. If you haven’t raised a child day in and day out, you’re not a mother. Motherly instincts does not give you the right to say your a mother, that honor goes to those of us who have carried a person for 9 months or gone through an agonizing adoption process..been up long nights, dried tears, celebrated milestones…

On the flipside, I like her philosophy about treating kids as humans, period…..not as kids, or mini-humans, or inferior. Children should be treated as full-blown human beings, with all the respect you would give an adult individual.

I’m glad Cameron realizes that she doesn’t have time for children right now. It’s a shame that some celebrities out there have babies when they’re not ready, then hand them off to the nannies while they go out and party.
