Celebrity moms make eco friendly choices

In addition to drinking milk, actress and  celebrity-mom Mariska Hargitay makes other choices that will benefit her 10-month-old son August Hermann.  According to the Life & Style Earth Day special, Mariska also uses Fruits & Passion’s Art Home Ecological Home Cleaner to ensure that her household cleaner is safer than normal store bought cleansers with it’s toxin-free formula.

Going green seems to be the latest trend in Hollywood, which explains why some moms are jumping on its bandwagon.  Other moms that are making the effort include pop icon Madonna, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, and 6-months pregnant actress Bridget Moynahan. Bridget, who is expecting her first child with ex-beau, football player, Tom Brady, is trying to avoid pesticides in food and was recently seen shopping for organic products at a Whole Foods Market.

In addition, mom to three, Madonna has just signed on to perform alongside popstar Fergie and her group The Black Eyed Peas in London for the July 7 Live Earth Concerts, which brings attention to the issue of global warming. A friend of the singer says she signed on for the special with her children, Lourdes, Rocco, and David in mind.

She wants to know she’s doing something for the sake of her kids and her future grandkids.
