Update: Harvey was released from the hospital on Wednesday. Katie’s rep says,

Katie is extremely pregnant. She’s just had ahusband that’s been in hospital, a son that’s been ill and now thisaccident. I don’t know how much more she can take. We just want Katie to get on with her pregnancy without going into premature labor.

Katie is due in 5 weeks.

In a Thursday morning appearance on CBS’ The Early Show, actress Katherine Heigl — who has made no secret of her aversion to childbirth — finally revealed the reasons why.  In preparation for her role in the film Knocked Up, in which she plays — you guessed it — a pregnant woman, Katherine watched birthing videos and attended the birth of her nephew.

I was in the room when my sister gave birth … and you know, I think we all wanted everybody to feel it and experience it.  It turned me off (to having children) for the moment but I’m sure I’ll change my mind.  I was doing really well, actually.  Once the movie had wrapped, it had been a year since we filmed (the birthing scene)…and so I was back on board.  And then I just saw the movie again recently and I’m…maybe not.

Update: Calum tells The Sun,

I’m in contact with the mother and we’ll do apaternity test as soon as possible. I guess if I am a dad then I needto take responsibility.

British model Lorna Hogan gave birth to 6 lb 13 oz Amelia Grace Hogan last December after a short affair with Calum last year.  According to Lorna, he has refused to take a paternity test to confirm that he is the father of the five month old baby girl or even visit the child.

Lorna told the UK’s Sunday Mirror,

I can’t believe he wants nothing to do with thisbeautiful little girl. He hasn’t even bothered to call and ask howAmelia is. He is out clubbing every weekend, throwing his money away. He ends up with a different girl on his arm each time.

She says that she met Calum at a London club and became pregnant accidentally because she was on the pill but the antibiotics that she was taking for a kidney infection prevented the pill from working.  She said,

When I told Calum Iwanted to keep the baby he sent me dozens of texts hinting I should getrid of the baby.

As rumours spread that the Duke of Anjou, Louis Alphonse of Bourbon, and his wife Margarita Vargas Santaella, were going to baptise their newborn daughter Eugenia in Spain where Louis Alphonse lived and where his family currently lives, Hola magazine reveals that The couple is to baptise little Eugenia this summer in Paris.

The couple is to stay at Margarita’s family house in Paris and will probably fly in the Vargas family private jet to the French capital. Louis Alphonse’s family are also going to be present. Venezuela, where the Dukes reside, was also seen as the possible location of the baptism.

Eugenia de Borbon was born the 5th of March in Florida to the Duke of Anjou and his wife, Venezuelan Margarita.

Apple Blythe Alison Martin, 3, makes a sour face after biting into a strawberry while at the farmer’s market on Wednesday with grandma Blythe Danner.

Former New Kid on the Block and Dancing with the Stars alum Joey McIntyre, 34, and his wife Barrett are expecting their first child in November. Joey announced the news on his website this morning, leading into the pregnancy declaration by casually chatting about their new home. Joey writes,

In the meantime, I just bought a new house in LA…we loved the beach in Venice, but what can I say…that freakin’ commute kills ya. Plus, it’s really a dream house for us and we are gonna need some more room…because MY WIFEY IS PREGNANT!!!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!!! I can!

German supermodel Clauda Schiffer, 36, gave the German newspaper Bild a short interview in Cannes in which she spoke about her kids and family. She is married to producer Matthew Vaughn, 36, with whom she has children Caspar, 4, and Clementine, 2 1/2. Here are some highlights from the interview:

On making more movies: I consider this matter closed. I did some movies but back then I didn’t have a husband and children. I think that actresses who have children have to love their job so much that they prefer to some extent to be separated from their families [in order to make a movie]. My passion is my family and the world of fashion. [My family] is the reason why I reject 80 percent of the shootings I’m offered.

On Clementine becoming a model: If she really wants to do it, I would support her because I only had positive experiences. I would help her to find the right agent. But I would prefer that she wouldn’t start too young but at 17.

What does she wish for? I only want that my family and I stay healthy. Since having children this has been my only wish.

On having a third child and adopting: I don’t rule it out but it would be nice if my daughter is a bit older. If I hadn’t been able to have children on my own, I would have done it [adopted] for sure. But with having my own family it isn’t an option for me anymore. But I think it’s great if people do it.
