Kevin Federline talks about fatherhood
E! Entertainment caught up with Kevin Federline recently while he was shooting his latest promo ad. When asked about how the single life is going, Kevin said she right he is focusing on the kids, not dating:
It’s all right. But I see it more like the life of Daddy, because it’s all about the kids right now.
And when asked about his favorite part of being a Dad, Kevin said,
I like everything—the hardships, the good times. I like being able to play around and watch my kids laugh and scream. It’s hard to say to somebody who doesn’t have kids…I don’t know if you do or you don’t.
Kevin even admitted to being a bit too wild in the past and he credits his children for getting him a bit more grounded.
It’s definitely grounded me. Everything wild that I used to do got canceled, thrown out the window…no running around the house wearing panties around your head.
Kevin not only has his two boys, Jayden James, 7 months and Sean Preston, 20 months, with ex-wife Britney Spears but two other children, daughter Kori, 4 1/2, and son Kaleb, 2 1/2.

“All about the kids”??? When has it ever been that way with Kevin??? EXCEPT when Brit was in rehab. I just think this guy is dishonest. I tried so hard to like him when Britney married him. But the longer they were married the more I saw that I disliked. Especially with his older children. I don’t know. There is just something about him that really bugs me. I think he says what he thinks the media and the public want to hear. He knows people dislike Britney and he knows all the terrible press she has gotten this past year or so and I think he is trying to paint himself as “the great father”. In my book its not working. People talk about never seeing Brit hold her children well I haven’t seen KFed hold any of his in quite a LONG time!!

Well i hated the man at first. But since Britney went crazy, im glad the kids have atleast one calm parent. He was really bad before. But seems he is trying to stay out of the light. This is even after the divorce settlement. I might sound crazy saying this but im starting to think he should have full custody of the kids instead of britney…

Tink1217 – I don’t think there are any photos because Kevin’s keeping them at home with him. Even though Britney only has three days custody a week – the only times you see her with the kids are when the nanny is lugging one or both to the dance studio. I think they’ve both grown up a bit and figured out their boys aren’t accessories.

I think everyone ought to give Kevin a chance to prove himself with his kids. He spends time with his older kids and Shar even said he’s a great father. I think he just doesn’t parade them around. Plus, I just don’t think the paparazzi cares as much about him.
As for people not liking him because of his partying, they have to remember that his relationship with Britney was not going well. He may have been trying to get away from her… not necessarily the kids.
I just pray that those boys grow up feeling secure and wanted, whoever raises them.

To bad he didnt feel grounded when he had the first two. I think hes just acting it up so people will think hes a good person and father. At least Britney cares about her kids, you can see it in her face when shes with them. She is also always coming out of the dance studio because she is working on a come back and to get her life back on track. People need to stop hating on her and get a life.
