Marcia Cross talks babies on EXTRA
In her first television interview since the birth of her fraternal twin girls Eden and Savannah, 2 months, Marcia Cross sits down to chat with Dayna Devon on EXTRA! tomorrow evening. Here are the highlights – tune into the show tomorrow for the full interview.
On being realistic: What I didn’t want to do was put out the myth that you can be in your 40s and just pop out kids. I just don’t want to do that. It’s really irresponsible. Have your babies younger if you can, which I would have done, but I just didn’t find my husband until later.
It’s just a difficult road. It’s terribly expensive, so it’s a drain on couples financially…it’s emotionally challenging…there’s nothing easy about it…it’s hard…the end result is the joy. But, it’s definitely a hard road.
On how she told Tom she was pregnant: I put his cappuccino on a tray and put the little stick on it and…he thought it was the spoon…and that’s how I broke the story.
More kids?: [Desperate Housewives producer Marc Cherry] would kill me. I promised him I wouldn’t have any more kids, but you never know if there’s an adoption in the future.

She seems so normal. And that baby on the left is her spitting image! That is crazy! Lucky kid; I think Marcia’s very pretty.

I love those pics. I hate the fact that Marc Cherry would say anything negative to Marcia if she got pregnant again. I know she signed a contract and all that, but please, the baby and Marcia herself, and her happiness would be more important than any show!! Anyway, adoption would be great. Those babies are such beauties.

I don’t think Marc Cherry would say anything bad, he’s probably just thinking how would they write it in? or how would they cover it up? Because, she’s an important part of the show.

I agree Aura, but the baby would be much more important in Marcia and her husband’s life. We also heard a lot of stuff when Sarah Jessica Parker got pregnant with James. Anyway…we’ll see.
