Chandra Wilson on raising her kids
Grey’s Anatomy star Chandra Wilson oversees five interns on the show,but in real life, she’s busy looking after her three kids, Serena, 13, Joy,8, and Michael, 18 months. The actress gets help from her longtimepartner and the father of her children.
He and I have a 19-year relationship. We go back and forth, but it works for us.
While Chandra started her career at the age of four, for now, she doesn’t foresee her children following in her footsteps.
They haven’t expressed any interest. But the middle one is the ‘mugger.’
Herkids do accompany her to industry events – Serena went to the NAACPImage Awards, where Chandra picked up the Best Supporting Actressstatuette, but she wasn’t very interested in the after parties.
She’ll probably want to stop at McDonald’s on the way home.
