"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Brooke Shields on her “yummy” girls, postpartum depression and more

Brooke Shields made an appearance on The View yesterday morning topromote her new campaign, Chain of Confidence, and talked about her twodaughters, Rowan, 4 on Tuesday, and Grier, 12 1/2 months, with husbandChris Henchy, instilling confidence in her children and postpartumdepression.

Brooke says her girls are "yummy and delicious" and there’s nothing sweeter than seeing them together.

They adore each other. Whenever the baby sees Rowan, she literally goes[makes excited face] – she gets so happy that she’s in the room.

Rowan and Grier don’t get along all the time though.

They do fight. The baby bit Rowan the other day, but she got to wear a band aid, so it was fine.

As she has mentioned numerous times before, Brooke loves that the girlswill have each other to lean on in the future since she herself is anonly child.

What’s great is they’re going to have each other to talk about me, likeit’s not just gonna be one dealing with me when I’m older and lesswonderful.

Having been a child actress, Brooke understands the stress and difficulties ofbeing in the business, but unlike most celeb parents, she doesn’t have a definite stance onwhether not she’ll let her kids give it a try.

My daughter knows the word ‘paparazzi’ and I wish she didn’t. You sortof are presenting this world to them and you can’t negate it becauseit’s what I do and love. I won’t be the one to deny them, but won’t be theone really to put them in it, yet I’m the first one to go, ‘Honey, dothe little dance, do it. Sing that song,’ you know? I turn into a stagemother myself because I think they’re perfect, so it’s like you can’thelp it.

In conjunction with Tupperware, Brooke’s Chain of Confidence campaignlaunched yesterday. It is a network designed to empower females and encouragestrong bonds and relationships, thus, boosting one’s confidence. Theactress says it’s important to forge healthy friendships between womenand hopes to build confidence in her children.

You want your kids to be confident. If you can give them one gift, Imean, the worst times of my life have been when I was insecure.

Brooke will also soon testify before Congress in support of the Mother’sAct, which is seeking to increase awareness, screening and earlydetection of postpartum depression.

We need to recognize it’s real and it’s biochemical and we’re not responsible for it. We’re responsible to take care of it.
