I’d like to win Chantal’s CD because I don’t have any of her music (I’ve not seen it in stores around here), so I can only listen to it on MySpace. But I think she has a beautiful voice, and I’ve been a fan of her husband’s music for about 10 years (I even had my first kiss at an OLP concert!).

Reading about Chantal’s experiences with her boys, I just feel such a kinship with her. I have two young sons of my own, and found myself nodding and even getting tears in my eyes during so many parts of this interview. There is nothing greater than being a mommy.

I would like Chantal’s CD because her music has always touched me in so many ways. Through the loss of two pregnancies, the birth of my sons, the loss of my grandmother and countless other ups and downs…her music has been like a personal soundtrack for my life throughout the years. She has always had words and music that ease the pain, or inflate the joy, depending on where life is going at that moment. Her generous soul and gracious heart is reflected in her writing (and obviously in her parenting, as well). She is certainly a role model for me.

Thanks for the great interview! I have been a fan of Chantal’s since she first started out in Canada, and I adore her newest single “Ghosts of You”. Why do I want to win her CD? Honestly, because I bought it once and foolishly lost it; don’t ask me how, but I did. I enjoyed listening to it so, so much and miss it so, so much. I’ve torn my house apart looking for it. I’ve never lost a CD in all my life, so naturally I’m heartbroken.
And, of course, Chantal is a wonderful ambassador for children: not just her own, but for around the world. She (and her husband) care about issues and making Canadian’s more aware of the suffering going on in the world.

What a thoughtful, heartwarming interview. I could relate to many of the things she said, especially about keeping the motherhood “train” going as long as she can. I wish I could too – I often feel that everything I did before my daughter’s arrival was just killing time, and I finally found my real purpose. I wish I had more babies to amaze and enchant me daily. Sadly, I am quite a bit older than Chantal, so my time is running out.

So I’m a bit afraid to listen to her new song about motherhood – I might melt in a puddle of tears. She is such a gifted songwriter – the song “Surrounded” still generates a lump in my throat.

Nonetheless, I would love to enter the drawing for the new cd. Her early music resonated with me. I saw her in 1998 when I was going thru a divorce – the only concert I ever attended alone. She was beautiful and gracious, signed my cd for me and chatted a bit. It’s clear that kindness wasn’t just an act – she IS that person. I have been a fan ever since (even tho’ the radio in Cleveland NEVER plays any of her music!) Most of my family is Canadian, so I feel a connection to her on another level as well.

I’ve been a big fan of Chantal’s music since she began her music career. But more than that, she is such a genuinely caring, loving person with a social conscience who isn’t afraid to speak out for what she believes in.

She’s someone I truly admire, not only for the wonderful music that she creates, but also her outspoking support for the many charities she’s involved with.

I am a huge fan of Chantal’s. She is such a talented artist and a genuinely nice person. After reading the interview with her, I respect her so much more as a mother and as a person. She has such a beautiful family and her kids seem so happy…she deserves a lot of credit for that. It can’t be easy to raise a family and be a superstar at the same time, but she manages to do it.

I would loooove to win a copy of her CD. Everytime I hear her song All I Can Do on the radio, it makes me think of my one year old daughter and how I would just do anything to keep her safe and happy.

It won’t be avaliable here (I live in Europe, in the middle of nowhere, pretty much). We don’t get that many CDs here. Only the popular ones which I mostly don’t like.
Because your children are totally the cutest kids, and because I just found out about you right now because of this webpage which is here because of them. And I thought they were girls SORRY! But you said so yourself that people get confused too because they are so pretty. You said that about Rowan, but on the main picture I thought little Lucca was a girl! I am so sorry!
