Marlee’s daughter is Isabelle Jane, not Isabella. She is 3 1/2 years old.

Does Marlee have any other children?
When I first saw the title I’d thought it’d said “Marlee Matlin and daughter Isabelle Jane at ASL event” (ASL as in American Sign Language), which would’ve been cool and something they could’ve attended as well.
Speaking of ASL and Marlee’s kids, if she has any other children, are any hearing impared like Marlee? I suppose even if they aren’t/her daughter isn’t, I’d bet her daughter still knows some sign language!

Marlee and her husband have four children , I believe Isabelle is the youngest. From interviews I have read w/Marlee all of her children can hear, but they, along with her husband speak sign language with Marlee,

I just saw Ms.Marlee at Vromans bookstore in Pasadena,ca today{1-17-08}.She has beautiful hair.She seems like a nice lady with no diva airs.

Re: Autumn’s comments, Marlee was not born deaf Marlee became deaf at the age of 18 months due to a bout with Roseola Infantum. Just an FYI.

Hi how are you doing? I am fine. I just finished watching you last night on Dancing with the Stars and i want to say that you are awsome. I just wanted to let you know that you are an insperation to me and my brother but mostly my brother. He has loved you since you first started being an actress and he is deaf as well. Can you email me back because i love my brother and i was wondering if i could get him an autograph because he means sooo much to me. I have been watching most all of your movies and when you are on tv.
I am 71 years old in October. I am hearing as well as my other two sisters my middle sister is going to be 69 and the baby is now 66. We all have hearing children. I wouldn’t miss one of your shows, i guess it is because I miss my mother so much she passed away Oct. 9th, 1998, that I have taken such an interest in you. Was so pleased to hear that you have 4 girls, I have one girl and one boy. My daughter has two girls and son has one girl and one boy. Well I hope to hear from you some day or from your children. Marlee, I met you August 22,o8 in Ralps parking lot in Oceanside. August 22 is my birthday. Meeting you made my birthday so awesome. I told you I do dress-up tea partys for girls and boys. Marlee and her daughter look so beautiful together. I know ASL and would love to meet Marlee and her family one day. But the ultimate dream would be to act in a movie with her. WOW!!! Marlee is an inspiration to me……..
