John Travolta talks about possibly having more babies and what his children think of him
John Travolta has previously talked about his desire to have another child. This week he spoke to Australian magazine Woman’s Day about it, as well as what his children are like and their take on him as a dad. John is married to Kelly Preston and they have two children; Jett, 15 and Ella, 7.
They are going to try for another child.
This summer, we’re going to do our best to create another one.
What his children think of him.
I am pretty silly with my children. I don’t know if they have any idea of my being cool. They understand the Grease image and other images. With them I am quite silly and natural and playful.

I can’t believe he repeats what he said before in another interview about “already having a beautiful princess” so he want to have another son! My gosh, his son Jett must be such a disappointment to him. How sad.
We think they may have just pulled quotes from old interviews, because it’s word for word what he said in February.

Aloop, I noticed that too! He seems to hide his son from the public. I think he and his wife are in denial about Jett’s autism or whatever it is. Maybe it’s not accepted by scientology or something. We know they don’t believe in meds, so it wouldn’t surprise me.

John loves his son very much. I remember when Jett was younger John always said how crazy about his son he was. He once even fired someone (a bodyguard it was, I think) because Jett wanted him to. John said in an interview that he’d fire any guy straightaway if they made his son cry, no questions asked – I think Jett was about four at that time. Maybe (that’s just a thought) he said the stuff about already having a little princess and wanting another boy because he thought Ella would be more jealous of a little sister than she would be of a little brother? That doesn’t mean that he loves Jett any less than Ella.

Um, sorry for stating the obvious, but isn’t Kelly Preston around 43 years old? Without medical intervention, I think their chances of conceiving naturally are quite low. I know it’s not impossible, but it’s highly unlikely.
It may be a pet peeve of mine, but I really hate how some older celebs talk about “trying for a kid” as if it’s no problem at all and could happen easily. It gives hope to normal people who cannot afford medical help. I guess that’s why I love celebrities like Marcia Cross and Courteney Cox, who tell the hard truth and who believe it’s irresponsible to mislead the public.
I know it’s none of our business how people get pregnant, but they should say nothing then IMO.
Maybe I’m reading too much into this because of how I feel about the Travoltas (and the autism thing).
