David Boreanaz on strawberries, football, and how Jaden got his name

Bones star David Boreanaz celebrated his 38th on The Martha Stewart Show on Wednesday by baking a strawberry torte, his favorite childhood treat, which his mom would make every year for his . Asked if he goes strawberry picking with his son Jaden Rayne, 5, David says they don’t, but he now hopes to.
We just go to the market and get strawberries, but I’d love to. Strawberry fields forever. I would actually love to do that.
If they don’t go strawberry picking, Jaden would probably be playing football, one of his favorite sports.He’s a big kid.
He’s definitely a thrill-seeker. He’s a [San Diego] Chargers fan.
As for his name, the budding football star owes it to his uncle.
‘Jaden’ actually came from my wife [Jaime Bergman]’s brother who came up with the name and we took it.

Preesi was trying to make a joke — his father is more famous than he is in Philly.
