Zahara and Pax are so cute

I wonder who does her hair, angie don’t seem like the type and i know brad ain’t doing it. you gotta be specialized to do a little black girl’s hair it can be difficult and stressful, i know!!

Okay, Zoey. Nobody is denying that Angelina has had a very checkered past. She was a very wild child who did a lot of things she’d freak at the idea of her children doing. Sounds like a lot of parents I know, including me. But what’s done is done. She did what most wild children do — she grew up, got her priorities in order and got her act together. From what I can see, she is a wonderful mother. And Brad looks like he was born to be a dad. A lot of adoptive parents would have passed up a child as sick as Zahara was when they took her home, but they were committed to caring for her no matter what. I think it’s not exaggerating to say that if they hadn’t adopted her, Z might well have died before her first birthday. As to whatever happened in the Angie/Brad/Jen triangle — it was TWO YEARS ago, for heaven’s sake. Everybody needs to get over it and move on.

i know its not nice to have favourites but Maddox is my fave i love every picture of him he is so damn cute as for Angelina changing her children’s names i think its fine Pax isnt the only one to have his name changed Maddox and Zahara did too Maddox’s used to Rath Vibol and Zahara’s was Tena Adam although i read somwhere else that her first name was Setota i think changing their names helps them blend in a little more (i mean that in a nice way)if Angie hadnt of renamed Pax when he was older he could of felt uncomfortable that his name was so different i think the names she gives them are really nice names anyway they all beautiful and their new names fit who they are

The Jolie-Pitt kids are just too cute!!! As for Pax’s name change I see nothing wrong with it. I had two friends growing up, one was born in Vietnam and the other was born in Thailand. Both their families moved to the US when they were kids and their parents changed their names one they got to the US. And these were their bio-parents that changed their name. It helped them to fit in better having a more American name plus with the language difference it made it so teachers and other kids would have an easier time pronouncing their name. I also had a good friend from Laos who on his own picked a nick-name for himself that was more American sounding so he would better fit in. So unless Pax says he doesn’t like his name and wants his old name back why should anybody else care.

For what its worth, I am an adoptive mother of an internationally born child.

My son came home young at 5 months old, however my husband and I are getting ready to start paperwork to bring home a brother for a son, and we are looking at a 1-2 year old boy. We -will- be changing his name.

Why? It’s our decision. Simply put. Our business, too.

To invade -some- of our business, naming our child is part of our parental right, and we feel that it is something we want to do. With our first son, we kept his birth name as his middle name. We fully intend to do that with our next son.
Naming our children helps give them a part of ourselves as parents. Just because we are adoptive parents, should we be denied that right? Not to US (adoptive parents)

My comment was simply in reply to another poster’s use of the word “Jenbots”. I just don’t think its fair that people use that word for anyone who doesn’t like Brad/Angelina. And I’m NOT going to go into what they are doing now that I dislike, because as you said, this is not the time or the place. I do NOT like them, but I certainly don’t think that needs to reflect on their children. I think Pax and Zahara.. and Mad and Shi for that matter are gorgeous children and seem extremely well adjusted. That doesn’t mean I have to like their parents though. And just because they help people.. it doesn’t negate any of the other things they’ve done.

Obviously no one is perfect, but knowing that doesn’t mean I have to like everyone. I can have my opinions of every celebrity. Some I like, some I dislike. Again though, this says nothing about their children.

I agree Annabeth. I dont like how Tom Cruise dumped Nicole when she was pregnant(she subsequently had a miscarriage) and then was seen jumping all over couches professing his love for katie..like he had never been in love before. That had to hurt.. but I dont go on Suri’s threads constantly talking about it. What is done is done.

You are entitled to your opinion, I just dont know why negative remarks ,about he parents of the children we look at here, need to be said. I dont like a lot of celebs but I dont seek out their threads or the ones of their children.

Name me one celebrity who is perfect. Or one noncelebrity for that matter. In my opinion though.. Brad and Angelina are good, decent people.. and have done way more things right in their lives than wrong. I admire the way they live their lives…(I see nothing they are doing IN THEIR PRESENT that is negative at all)

Sometimes it is the ones who are doing the most to help others who are persecuted the most. I find this very sad.
