Felicity Huffman on the Macy girls first trip to NY
by CBB contributor Raye:
Felicity Huffman had a change of scenery this Mother’s Day, she revealed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night. In town to do promotion for Desperate Housewives, the actress spent the weekend in New York City and brought her daughters, Sofia, 6 1/2, and Georgia, 5, along with her. It was the girls’ first time in NYC and it seems their favorite attraction in the city is Central Park.
Everyday we’d go and they were just interested in being in Central Parkoutside. We’d spend four or five hours out there. You know those huge, great rocks outside Central Park? They’d play, I dunno, fairies andsquirrels forever.
And they’d each have their little houses and therewere all these drunk people asleep on the rocks. So they were beingquiet not to disturb them and so Sofia has her house over here and thelittle one has her house over here. And suddenly Sofia popped up andwent, ‘My guy is waking up. Can I come live with you now?” Which I’msure is something they’re gonna say to each other later on in life.
Joining them in the Big Apple was Felicity’s husband, William H. Macy, who flew in from South Africa, where he was on location for a film the past two months.
I got to see the man responsible for making me a mother on Mother’s Day.
