LeBron James’ girlfriend fine after trip to hospital
Savannah Brinson, the 8-months-pregnant girlfriend of NBA star LeBron James, recently had to be taken from the Quicken Loans arena in Cleveland on a stretcher. Savannah was transported by ambulance to the hospital during halftime of Thursday’s playoff game between LeBron’s Cleveland Cavaliers and the New Jersey Nets.
LeBron was informed of the situation with updates throughout the game, and said he was "concerned, of course."
You always want your family to be protected, you want them to be fine. They assured me that she was OK so I believed what I heard.
The couple’s other child, 2-year-old LeBron Jr., stayed behind to watch the rest of the game with his grandmother Gloria James. LeBron has not revealed the reason behind the need for medical intervention, but Savannah has since been released from the hospital and is believed to be fine.
The new baby, due in June, will also be a boy.

I’m glad she’s okay! I simply adore LeBron James, I think he’s a wonderful and very mature person.

I think he should have gone to the hospital to be with her. There was no way of knowing what exactly was going with her health or the baby.
A game should never be a priority above an 8 month pregnant girlfiend who’s taken to hospital on a stretcher.

Good thing she is okay. I think he should have went to the hospital with her. He probably couldnt concentrate on the game anyway, so why stay there. Family is more important.

Wow I’m glad finishing the game was more important than being their for his 8 month pregnant girlfriend. I’m glad he has his priorities straight. (note sarcasm)

To all the posters who said he should have gone with her to the hospital: He said that they assured him that she was “okay” and he believed what he heard. He probably felt that, since the paramedics were fairly certain she was going to be okay, it was safe for him to finish the game. Had the baby needed to be born or the problem turned out to be more serious than they first though, I am sure someone would have called him and told him to get to the hospital. He also, according to this article, got updates on Savannah’s condition throughout the game. So he knew what was going on with her, and probably figured he didn’t really need to. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if Savannah actually told him not to go with her, but to finish the game instead. I’ll bet all of you married ladies on here have told your husbands similar things many times.

If she had been okay she wouldn’t have been taken to hospital. I’m sure they said he should finish the game but I still believe he should’ve supported her at the hospital.

Sarita: I am sure that by “okay”, they probably meant that they knew or were fairly certain that both she and the baby were going to be just fine, and that it was nothing serious. They probably took her to the ER as more of a precautionary measure than anything. My guess is that she didn’t mind his not being there.

Well since I’m not psychic and don’t know the situation I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that the situation wasn’t the dire. The paramedics are almost always going to transport a pregnant woman even if they feel that there’s only a 1% chance that there’s something wrong. I’m sure he cares about his family.

I was very depressed when I found out that LeBron James had 2 kids and a girlfriend but I’m okay now. I’m happy for LeBron and I hope that the baby is as handsome as he is.

LeBron’s bastards are “non” of my business? This is true. However, when all his admirers start planting their little bastards all over the country, it becomes everybody’s business. Study after study has shown that children need a father. Thanks to Liberalism, men have been reduced to mere sperm donors by the feminists. If you’ve got money like the athletes and Hollywood crowd who flaunt their rejection of marriage, at least the kids don’t have to rely on food stamps to be fed. Not so for the many, many poor children. Do I give a rip about the selfish people who bring these innocent children to sufffer? Absolutely not. However, when my taxes go up to feed and shelter these kids, when I have to fear walking from the grocery store to my car lest my purse be stolen, or any other crime, you’re damned straight it’s my business.
