Nancy O’Dell calls baby shower “one of the best days” she’s ever had
Access Hollywood host Nancy O’Dell, expecting a baby girl in June, recently enjoyed her very first baby shower as the ‘guest of honor’ and blogged about the experience for her fans. Writing that she "didn’t want it to be over," Nancy said the shower made her realize "how important close people are in your life and that we should all try to find the time to spend with those special people."
I just got the warmest feeling looking around the room and realized how lucky I am to have such dear friends…I had the best time catching up with them all. I had the time to go around the room and hear about their families and get updated on their children and then get all kinds of pregnancy, birthing and first year advice. The best thing about having such close friends is they will be honest. One friend even shared with me that labor ‘makes you feel like your butt is falling off’….OOOHHH but ahh, it will all be worth it!
Nancy, who recently looked radiant while gracing the cover of Pregnancy magazine, said her "very, very special little girl" couldn’t have been happier with the food choices at the event.
A cake made out of donuts!!! Because that is one thing I have been craving lately…Or lets just say my baby girl has….Sounds better for the baby to crave the donuts.
Guests — which included actresses Lisa Rinna and Holly Robinson Peete — played traditional games like the ’string game,’ and showered the mom-to-be with an abundance of baby clothes, leading Nancy to proclaim that her baby girl is a fashionista in the making.
In fact, I just added an extra clothes pole in the nursery closet!
The new baby, Nancy’s first with husband Keith Zubchevich, will join big brothers Tyler, 11, and Carson, 7, from Keith’s first marriage. A slideshow of the shower (complete with belly rub pictures!) is available here.

pregnancy definately suits her! does anyone know who makes the dress she’s wearing at her shower? i love it!

i love all the hype that accompanies the teething set of hollywood. they’re the next big thing, and we all know they will be due to all the nepotism that goes on in hollywood. likewise, i can’t wait to see the baby pictures of nancy’s offspring in its new custom baby room. is it really that big of a deal? but then again, i’m nowhere near having a children so perhaps that’s the where i don’t quite make up. my aunt spent a lot of money on the design on her first born’s room (complete with name on the wall and morning wake up lights and sound that says “wake up sleepy head” in mommy’s voice). i guess i can see why they get into it– it’s cute. i work for HGTV, and lately i’ve been all about their new show “BOUGHT & SOLD” (sundays @ 10pm)– it’s totally eyes and ears in the real estate market complete with all the drama that goes into scoring that dream home. check it out @ http://web.hgtv.com/webhgtv/images/pac/59889/start_at_home.html?section=boughtsold,panel=videos . Ga Ga Designs (who recently did P. Diddy’s baby’s room) does make a high-end design concept for its clients and their newborns, i can’t knock that, and kudos to the firm on banking on a market that is still expanding. what do you think about moving into a new home, most often due to expanding families, and the whole design process that follows suit?
