Introducing Guillermo Iglesias Rijnsburger
Julio Iglesias, 63, introduced his newborn son Guillermo who was born two weeks ago in Miami. Guillermo is the fifth child for Julio and his partner Miranda Rijnsburger with whom he also has sons Miguel, 9, Rodrigo, 8, and twin daughters Victoria and Cristina, 6. Julio also has sons Julio, 34, and Enrique, 32, and daughter Chabeli, 35, with ex-wife Isabel Preysler, 56.
Guillermo is 5 days old in the photo.

It only makes me a bit sad that he will most likely lose his father at a relatively young age

Who’s to say Julio isn’t going to live for another thirty-forty years? I didn’t hear of Julio being in bad health, so…
What really matters is he has a father and mother who love him, as well as extended family, and even if he were to lose his father at a young age, I’m sure the rest of his family would make sure he knew how much his father loved him, etc. Above all that, at least he’s G’s a happy, healthy little boy.
But aside from that, little Guillermo is adorable.

I agree with FC. My own dad was already 53 when I came along and I had him until he was 85 – until about 83 he was healthy and extremely active, and even actively supported my brother with his business (not because he ‘had to’, but because he loved to). I was fortunate to have had loving parents and I am very grateful that my parents didn’t decide that they were to old for another baby before I came along
People live longer lives these days and there is never a guarantee for anything, but I’m sure Julio and Miranda know what they are doing.
Guillermo is adorable, and he is fortunate to have a great, big, loving family.

What a gorgeous little boy!! Congrats Julio and Miranda!! =)
And who knows… Julio may see this little man grow up – his father, after all, lived to be 90 (he was 5 months shy of 91)!

FC: I would love to believe that Julio will live another 30-40 years and of course I hope so! I was not trying to criticize, just being realistic. And 30 or 40 is still a young age to lose a parent…
Hope he lives to be at least 110 though !

Actually whoever mentioned about Julio’s dad was right! Julio Sr. lived to a ripe old age, and ironically enough he even became a “father” for the final time post-mortem!?!
(I remember reading on here last year how “Abuelo Iglesias” last child was born after he’d passed!)
This little baby will then have fun some day playing with his aunt or uncle who’s only a year older than him! lol!

Beautiful baby. I saw a recent pic of all 5 kids, they are a beautiful family. His wife at 41 and for having 5 kids, looks good too.

HE IS BEAUTIFUL, AS ARE ALL HIS CHILDREN.
I DONT EVEN THINK WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT JULIO DYING, AFTER HE HAS JUST BROUGHT LIFE INTO THE WORLD, HE IS IN GOOD HEALTH, STILL VERY ACTIVE , AND BEAUTIFUL. AGE DOES NOT COME INTO DEATH, IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU OR I AT ANY GIVEN TIME, WE SHOULD BE HAPPY AND PROUD, LOVE YOU JULIO.
