Brad Paisley inspired by baby with new album
As he prepares for the release of his fifth album — the appropriately titled ‘5th Gear‘ — country music superstar Brad Paisley attributes much of the album’s nostalgic feel to his newborn son, William Huckleberry. The first child for Brad and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, 3-month-old Will has forced his father to re-examine not only choices he has already made, but also those he will make in the future.
‘Letter To Me’ was written to myself at 17-years-old. I realized later that — even though that was written in January before we knew whether the baby was a boy or a girl — it was written for my kid as much as it is for me because I think children are the closest thing we get to a second chance at things.
