"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

    Wow – what a lovely family !
Any idea where Heidi got the bag ? I LOVE IT !!!

You can click the link for the diaper bag; if it’s another bag, we’re not sure.

  2. WOW Says:

It takes 5 adults to look after 3 kids????? That’s not something I see at my local supermarket! Could it be those other woman are friends or relatives?

    Could be!

  3. sil Says:

wow three nannies! I wish I could have one! :) :) lovely family

  4. Michelle Says:

So to all the people who say “how does she manage with 3 under the age of 3″ – Three nannies thats how!!!

  5. H Says:

I am fan of Heidi, I think they are a great family! I do think the number of nannies she totes everywhere is a bit excessive!

  6. Angel Says:

Oh, my. I wish I had enough money to hire a nanny for each child so I could actually shop…

  7. Bella Says:

    Mom, grandma and THREE nannies???

  8. pink.lioness Says:

Wow, that always looks like a major operation when that family goes somewhere.
A neighbour of mine has 3 kids of a similar age and when she goes to the shops, she always pushes an overloaded stroller with bags hanging everywhere and a toddler holding onto the stroller frame on each side. And just imagine when it starts raining. I bet if she had a nanny or two she’d be a lot more happy and relaxed as well.
I’m not trying to slam Heidi for having nannies, rather the opposite. I honestly don’t get it why people criticize Heidi for having nannies. They aren’t bringing up her kids, they’re just an extra couple pairs of hands, something I’m sure most parents would be grateful for every now and then… If I was in her situation and had the money I would have a nanny, too. That’s for sure.

    They’re a beautiful family.

  9. Meridith Says:

I love that bag! Without a doubt it’s Fleurville’s Mother Ship in Pink Stripe. Go to http://www.fleurville.com to find it. I’m sure it’s there or at Babystyle.

The pink writing is a link with numerous locations to purchase the bag.

  10. Mysha Says:

HEIDI’S KIDS NEED A BLACK FEMALE INFLUENCE IN THEIR LIVES!

    DON’T GET ME WRONG…
I LOVE THIS FAMILY, THEY ARE WONDERFUL. IF HEIDI NEEDS 3 NANNIES IN ORDER TO STAY SANE, I SAY YOU GO GIRL, DO WHAT U GOTTA DO…BUT WHY CAN’T ONE OF THE NANNIES BE OF AFRICAN DESCENT. HER CHILDREN SHOULD BE AROUND AN ETHNIC FEMALE IN ORDER TO GIVE THEM BALANCE AND ALLOW THEM TO EXPERIENCE THE OTHER SIDE OF THEIR CULTURE.

  11. Meela Says:

She has 3 nannies, so what!!! That’s what financial stability allows, the ability to spend your money however you see fit! The more the merrier, it works for them why should it bother us?

  12. BELA Says:

GIVE ME A BREAK! SHE DOES NOT NEED THREE NANNIES WHEN SHE GOES SHOPPING WITH HER MOTHER. UNLESS OF COURSE SHE DOES NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE KIDS WHEN SHE IS THERE. I GO ALONE WITH TWO AND I DO JUST FINE! SO FIVE PEOPLE FOR THREE KIDS IS CRAZY, NO MATTER HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE! NO WONDER SHE SAID SHE WANTS TONS OF KIDS, WITH A NANNY FOR EACH KID SHE HAS PLENTY OF TIME TO HERSELF.

  13. Lauren Says:

Seriously? I realize that shopping with three little children is no easy task, but come on-5 adults looking after three kids? And this isn’t the first time, either. When Heidi was pregnant with Johan, there were pictures of Erna holding Leni’s hand, one nanny pushing an empty stroller, another with Henry, and Heidi just moseying along behind everyone. I don’t begrudge nannies at all-if you can afford the help, I say take it-but there is a point where it goes overboard, and there is simply no need for five adults to care for two kids and a baby. Why keep having kids if you’re going to hand them off to somebody else?

  14. Brooke Says:

No wonder she has a baby every year and still manages to look great, it’s easy when you have a nanny for each child lol. Nonetheless I like her, and she seems to be a good mom. Johan is cute.

  15. kiki Says:

does anybody know where Henry’s t-shirt is from? it’s so adorable!!!

  16. Sarita Says:

Mysha, I think that Seal can help them experience African culture they don’t need a extra women for that. Or do you also think they need a white man to teach them their German heritage?

  17. Melissa Says:

I swear I’ve seen Henry’s shirt at Target. Is it just me?

Well, we know Heidi shops there! I’ll check the website.

  18. Anna L. Says:

Mysha, their father allows them to experience the other side of their culture…

  19. kaia Says:

I meant the black bag she is carrying herself. Not the diaper bag. Thanks !
I think if she can afford three nannies – why not !!

  20. madison Says:

We don’t even know for sure who those women are; the news stories accompanying these pictures just assume they are nannies. Personally, I could care less who they are. If she wants 3 nannies – rock on, its her life. But I do find it funny that Heidi, the revered mother, can have a baby every year and a nanny per baby and people say “she’s a great mom – whatever help she needs she should have”. Britney or Angelina….and the judgements would be flying.

  21. darcy Says:

madison, that’s so not true. Britney always has an entourage with her as well and Angelina has help too, like most celebrity parents, and nobody says a word about that. They hire help because they have the money to afford them, unlike most of us ordinary folk. That doesn’t mean they aren’t good parents. I’m sure Heidi ‘could do it’ without a nanny but so it’s much more relaxed and stress free for everyone, and that includes the children. Heidi is actually one of very few celeb mums who constantly gets criticized for employing nannies.

  22. madison Says:

Darcy – as I said in my post, I could care less if she had 3 nannies per kid. That isn’t the point of my comment AT ALL. If I had 3 kids and had the money – I would most certainly have all the help I wanted. I’m simply summarizing what I read on this blog each and every day. I am actually one of the people who speak out regularly against all the judgemental comments against Britney and Angelina. Read the archives and you will see that Heidi is revered while others are regularly criticized . Just a couple of recent gems: “Angelina must not love Shiloh as much as the others b/c…… “or “Britney’s cousin holds Sean more than Britney does” laughable

  23. darcy Says:

madison, I get your point and I agree with you but honestly, the few people who are silly enough to question Angie’s love for Shiloh don’t make up for all those who constantly criticize Heidi for employing nannies. I have a feeling that some people are just jealous of Heidi for having nannies while they have to struggle without any.

  24. pink.lioness Says:

In response to Mysha – who says that there aren’t any ladies on Seal’s side of the family (his mum? stepmum? does anyone know?).

Sarita – they do have white men in their family that they are close to – grandad Gunther and their uncle (Heidi’s brother) Michael.

I think they are a wonderful, “wholesome” (sorry I can’t think of a better word) family.

  25. Jill Says:

Henry’s shirt is from Target and it is an upside down monkey with the word CRAZY, I got one for my son in 3T, 4T and 5T because they are adorable and so him !_!

Wish it was available online. :(

  26. FC Says:

The army is out in full effect again. She should lend one to my nephew’s mother. She’s on her way to having four children (three all under the age of five) and I don’t know how she does it. But she’s managed, and everyone manages in their own way.

She and Angelina, and anyone else with more than 3 young children, get my props. I’m still worried about how I’ll fair with just one.

But I have to say that Johan is adorable with those round cheeks and legs of his. He’s beginning to favor his dad more in the face, the more I see him. Then there are times that he looks like his mother. So…he’s good mix of both. :)

  27. Laura Says:

I like Heidi’s Nest diaper bag better…because I have the same one!

  28. L Says:

I really like this family, but three nannies just seems CRAZY. I know they have the means, but is that really necessary?

It seems like it would create a weird family dynamic to have THREE strangers with you to help with your kids during most waking hours. I know I know, the nannies become friends and part of the family, but they’re not family. It just seems strange.

I’ve always found it odd that some of these celebrities are pretty much never without the nanny. Even when they’re off work, during family outings.
