Willow Smith to make feature film debut in American Girls movie
Willow Smith, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s daughter, has been cast in the new American girl movie, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery. Abigail Breslin will play the title character, Kit, who lives in Depression Era Cinncinati.
The film will also star Julia Ormond as Kit’s mother, Chris O’Donnell, as Kit’s father, Joan Cusack as a nurse, and Wallace Shawn as a newspaper editor. Other stars include Stanley Tucci, Jane Krakowski and Glenne Headly.
Filming is set to start tomorrow in Toronto, with a theatre release date of July 2, 2008.

I can’t imagine who she’ll be playing. I have read the Kit books. I have the doll, and I know her story. Not sure. But Good luck to her!

Man, I was so obsessed with American Girl when I was younger. I am excited to see Kit’s story made into a movie!
