I liked Naomi in King Kong, but I’ve noticed she has sort of a smug or cocky look about her since she’s been pregnant. I can’t quite put my finger on it; it’s just something I noticed in all the pics. Frankly, I think she gets a bit too much press for her level of celebrity anyway.
That said, I do think she’s looking pretty wiped out now. Must be almost time.

Girlfriend needs to put some makeup on…all of her recent pictures show her looking dreadful. She definately doesnt have that mothering glow. Yikes!

Laurie maybe she just feels happy and proud that she is becoming a mother. You might interpret it as smuggness I would suggest she is feeling blessed and content.

Laurie, that’s funny, because my instant reaction was – Liev Schrieber has got to be kidding if he thinks that he’s a paparazzi target. Nobody has had any interest in either him or Naomi Watts until they got pregnant. A couple of B-grade celebrities like those two should be pleased that the paparazzi even know who they are!!

Wow. Cant believe how rude some of you are. I hope this doesn’t turn into another site where all people do is bash celebs. First off, Naomi doesn’t look smug. Most of the time she looks annoyed. How would you like someone following you around taking your picture all time, including when you’re picking up dog poop. We’ve seen about 50 of those. And when she’s on the red carpet, she looks happy. What’s wrong with that? She’s enjoying her pregnancy. Also, neither Naomi nor Liev are B grade. She’s Academy Award-nominated and he’s Tony-nominated. Maybe if they were in more mindless movies like Wedding Crashers or Dodgeball, you would know who they are. Disappointing. I’m done ranting now, so I’ll just say what I was going to: Cute pic. Can’t wait for their baby.

what level of celebrity? are you referring to angelina jolie, kate hudson, mischa barton, lindsay lohan, paris hilton or whoever who have done nothing much of serious movie-making but party-going and flirting around to draw all the top-celebrity level of publicity and attention from the press & paparazzi?

Naomi smug? Not in a million years. She’s one of the nicest, most normal celebrities out there and she’s been very gracious to the paparazzis, even though they follow her everywhere now. She and Liev are VERY low key, doesn’t mean they’re B-list. A-list actors for sure (he actually HAS a Tony and a new nomination this year and she’s an Oscar-nominated, very in-demand actress with huge critical acclaim). Of course if you compare them to Britney Spears or Paris Hilton or even any of those Desperate to Be on the Cover of something celebrities like Jennifer Aniston or Eva Longhoria, I’m happy to say Naomi is not that type of celebrity. She is an actress before she’s a celebrity and she doesn’t endlessly talk about her private life to the press while he’s happy to say the only reason paps follow him is because of Naomi. He never cared for that kind of celebrity anyway. The New York Times recently called him the best Shakespearean actor of his generation, if that means anything to tabloid readers.

Shawna, they’ve only been nominated, not won. And Angelina has done A LOT more than Naomi. Oh and by the way, I’ve never even seen Wedding Crashers or Dodgeball. Not my kind of movie, but it sounds like you know a lot about them.
I’ve never seen a picture of Naomi picking up poop. Must have missed those 50 pictures you claim are out there.

I don’t see smug at all, she just looks happy. I hardly would consider her a “B grade” celebrity. And people say that Angelina is the only one critcized for everything she does. She isn’t even DOING anything in this picture yet she is STILL criticized!

LaurieFarrell- As Millie mentioned, Liev actually DOES have a Tony. So, just because he has only been nominated but not won this year doesn’t mean he NEVER has. Also, I have not seen pictures of Naomi picking up poop either, but then the only celeb-related site I ever visit on a regular basis is CBB (I will sometimes look at pictures on JustJarad or X17 if CBB links to them). Anyway, even though I have not seen the pictures doesn’t mean they don’t exist. This reminds me of all the people who are always claiming that Angelina never holds Shiloh and therefore must not love her….when there have, in fact, been several pics of Angie holding Shi! For some reason, the people who say Angie never holds Shi either never “saw” or refused to admit that they did see, the pics of Angie holding her youngest.

i suppose it is a matter of opinion whether one looks smug or tired. i might agree that she & liev are b-list celebs, but they are a-list actors. after 21g, at least 30 critics said watts was the best in her generation. the nytimes has called tony-winner (& emmy nomineee liev) the best stage actor of his generation. i would match up watts’s body of WORK since mulholland dr w/joli’s. but yes, joli is more of a celebrity.
but unlike celebrity watchers, actors like watts & schreiber do not appreciate paparazzi attention. they don’t get that much, like the circus the paparazzi give no-talent paris hilton (like today), but they get much more than they want. they had more than they wanted before she was pregnant.
it does not make much difference, but if this site was user friendly for pix, i am sure many could be attached. they were all over other gossip sites, but the attention span for gossip sites is mtv-short.
