Singer Amy Winehouse: I was born to be a wife and a mum
British singer Amy Winehouse recently wed her longtime on-again/off-again beau Blake Fielder-Civil, and while her career has really taken off in the last couple of months, Amy says she has her priorities straight and that singing will always be on the back burner.
I love what I do but it’s not where it begins and ends.
The popstar says that now that she is a wife, the next natural step for her is motherhood. And when she does begin having children, she says she will happily forgo her career.
I know I’m talented but I wasn’t put here to sing. I was put here to be a wife and a mum and look after my family.
About her new hubby, the Rehab singer admits she is completely smitten, saying,
I had never felt the way I feel about him about anyone in my life.
