Mahima Chaudhary: Delivery is really a big deal!
Indian actress Mahima Chaudhary, 33, welcomed her first child, a daughter, on Sunday June, 10th. Although she is undeniably ecstatic over the birth of her baby girl, Mahima is even more amazed with the birth process after going through it herself.
This is really a big deal. I know every woman who goes through pregnancy doesn’t make a big deal out of her delivery. For most, it’s just another effortless job. But it isn’t, really. Giving birth is like running a nation! And women who go through it, are truly angels. Today my respect for them has gone up. This is undoubtedly my biggest achievement. The Bollywood rat race, the glamour of my job, everything is insignificant when compared to this joy.
Mahima’s daughter, who is the first girl child born into the family in 40 years, does not yet have a name, but she’s easy to identify.
When I was waiting for the nurse to bring her to me, I was wondering if I would be able to recognize my baby, because all babies look alike. But the doctors told me not to worry, I would be able to identify her because of her long fingers and her pout. My baby has a pout that cannot be missed. Everyone’s saying she’ll be creatively inclined. Maybe she’ll be an artist…
I don’t know who she looks like, [my husband] Bobby or me, it’s too early to say. I don’t believe in astrology, so her name won’t have any astrological reference. And we have decided to wait a few days to let her personality develop. We will decide a name after that.

Okay, call me crazy… but if Mahima is 33 – how could her daughter be the first girl child born into the family in 40 years? Do they mean on the father’s side of the family?

I love Mahima! She’s so awesome and sweet and down to earth! Cant wait to see her baby.
Oh by the way, her husband also have two sons from a previous relationship and he’s in the process of a custody battle.

I am so very happy for her.
I am sure the baby is beautiful.

I too am curious about the first baby in 40 years comment when the mother is 33. ??? Can any one clear that up?

Lol,I just read that and came to comments to ask about the 40 year thingy but I see i wasnt the only one that caught on to it.

I really liked that ad with Aamir Khan and was so happy when Subhash Ghai signed her for her first film(PARDES) with SRK no less!!!
She was sensational and won the Film Fare Award for BEST cinema debutante….NOT Ash who also made her cinema debut the same year….
She is so pretty so I am very very sure that her baby is gorgeous too…However I must admit I thought she was still single and had just broken up with that tennis player Leander Paes !!

‘Yes, I’m married & pregnant’
Mahima Chaudhary has finally accepted that she is married to her brother’s best friend, the noted architect Bobby Mukherjee. The icing on the cake is also that she is pregnant; the baby is due in a week.
Deliriously happy, and her now-on, then-off career in Bollywood is an inconsequential part of her life in comparison to this beautiful phase.
“You put on lots of weight. But I must say I look well endowed,” laughed Mahima, adding, “I think all mothers-to-be look most beautiful when they are expecting.” Mahima surely looks happy what with her skin glowing and her emotions running high.
Aakansha Mahima’s sister has come down from Florida with her old maternity clothes and her little son’s baby outfits as it is a custom, that the newborn is not allowed to wear anything new for 15 days. Mahima, speaks expectantly , “Bobby wants a daughter. So do I. But it’s fine if we are blessed with a son.”
The rumours of conceiving out of wedlock were denied with a laugh.
She legally married Bobby last year on March 19, in Las Vegas. He was earlier married but divorced when they met.
They married at a hoteliers’ conference in Vegas where she was making an appearance and marriage wasn’t part of the plan. With chopped off long tresses and a bob cut she was simply enjoying the holiday and attending the conference. Mahima called her sister and a few friends over for the wedding.
She was married there amongst about 10,000 Indian hoteliers and their families, and nobody had an inkling. I The couple had a registered marriage, but later, on March 23, they got married according to Hindu rites with Mahima dressed up like a Bengali bride in a sari with red border and red and white Bengali bangles.
The two will soon be shifting to their new house in Bandra.

ya that was surprising to know that she delivered a baby cos 3 4 months back, i was hearing news of her affairs with some tennis player or a cricket player.and suddenly she was pregnant and married.i think these glam people are really from the other world . anyways,chaos 4 her baby.
