I think the daughters are adopted. But I’m not 100% sure.

Soon Yi is the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow, not Woody Allen. She was adopted before Woody and Mia got together and then he got together with her after he and Mia split. It is still weird and not morally right, but technically not illegal. He did watch her grow up, so I think that makes it a tad icky!

Satchell was his biological child with Mia Farrow, and Mia Farrow adopted Soon-Yi. I’ve just read Mia Farrows autobiography.
I really hope these kids he has adopted with Soon Yi are safe – I’m unsure how he was able to adopt with his past, as Soon Yi apparently was not the only adopted child of Mia’s that he interferred with. Having a bunch of money can do wonders I suppose. Sigh.

I don’t think it was ever confirmed that Bechet was adopted. Manzie was, for sure. For all we know Bechet could be their biological child.
Clarify: Soon Yi was never Woody’s daughter. He had a relationship with Soon Yi’s adoptive mother, Mia Farrow (the original Angelina Jolie; adopted 10 kids). Woody had a biological son Ronan (originally named Satchel; he changed his name) and adopted another son and a daughter with Mia, so they had three kids together but never married, and Woody never adopted Soon Yi. Woody’s parential rights were terminated after it was discovered that he was having an affair with Soon Yi. Mia has since cut off all contact with both of them, and Woody hasn’t seen his son ever since.
I feel that it’s a sad situation for both sides. Mia lost a daughter and Woody lost three children. Woody and Soon Yi have been married a long time though, especially by Hollywood standards, so who am I do doubt the genuinity of their relationship, IMO? I still like Woody’s movies.

I’m pretty sure one of them is their biological child. I thought I remembered Soon-Yi being pregnant.

This makes me so worried and uneasy. Woody molested his 7 year old adopted daughter Dylan when he was with Mia. This isn’t conjecture. It went to court and he got off with horrible manipulation by his lawyers, and that they didn’t want to make the little girl go through more trials because they were stressing her out. If you read the stuff from the trial or what Mia has said, you know that it is true. The child would hide in the closet so she wouldn’t have to be with him on visits.
Mia has said that she is worried for these new daughters, who were adopted when they were around 7. The age Woody likes.
I don’t think he should be allowed around children. It is horribly sad. Horrible, and I just pray that he hasn’t abused these kids.

They are both adopted. Why I don’t know, maybe Soon-Yi thought pregnancy might make her seem too adult for Woody’s taste..
Leaving aside the history of allegations of child abuse how on earth was a man of his age allowed to adopt? It really does prove that money can buy children.
I think the whole situation is creepy at best and horrifying at worst

Love is Love? Are you kidding me? Mia found naked pics that woody took of Soon-yi at age 12. He was her step dad. That is not love, it’s exploitation and pedephilia. This should make your stomach turn.

I remember seeing pictures of Woody and Soon-Yi after they were married. She sure looked pregnant and I was surprised it wasn’t mentioned in the writeup. I just figured it would be announced later, but I guess it never was…or she never was pregnant and I was just imagining seeing a baby bump. I dunno. Also, it would be interesting to put an old picture of Satchel next to Manzie’s. I think they would look very much like brother and sister.

KBaby – I’ve seen many pictures of Satchel (though he’s changed his name to Ronan now) and he’s a clone of his mother, so no, him and Bechet wouldn’t look alike.
