"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

Angelina Jolie on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

Tags: Ha ha, News, Quotes, Video

Angelina Jolie, 32, appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart this evening while promoting her new film A Mighty Heart. Here are the kid-related highlights.

How is she?: I’m great. I’ve got a big crazy happy family and I’m used to chaos, and I’m very, very lucky.

How many kids are she and Brad planning for in total?: [Ponders] Mmm…It fluctuates between seven and 13 or 14. [laughs]

Jon interjects, ‘Wow. I’ll tell you this — I admire that, because two is kicking my ass!’ Angelina adds, ‘Yeah, I understand that. Four is kind of kicking our ass, but we kind of feel like, ‘Damn it, we’re up for the challenge!‘ [laughs] Jon responds, ‘Yeah man, who are they? Little bastards, think they can beat us. They can’t beat us! We’re the adults!‘ ‘That’s right!‘ Angelina replies, laughing.

Plans for the next few months include finishing up Wanted in Prague, a jaunt to Chicago, then trips to France and Pakistan.

LOL, that’s funny. And so true.

Yesterday I babysat three girls, ages 10, 8 and 3, and they were kicking my ass. They all wanted to do different things, play with different toys, and I had to find ways to divide my attention between them so that they were all entertained and no one was jealous. The little one demanded attention and wanted to go play outside when it was pouring rain; I said no, and she threw a tantrum. She’s very stubborn and has quite an attitude; I couldn’t satisfy her. She brought a soft toy ball into my room and started peeling off the paint in little strips, making a mess on the floor. I told her, “Please don’t do that,” and she just ignored me. I said, “I’m taking the ball away if you don’t stop that,” and she ignored me. The 10-year-old put it quite well: “Even though you’re almost 20, you can not argue with a 3-year-old!” So true. You’d think I’d have the upper hand, but the little one was in charge of everything.

I’m too soft with kids. That’s why they kick my ass. I tend to think that if I reason with them, they’ll understand, but of course kids are irrational – that’s why they’re kids. A little boy I babysat once was quite witty in that matter. I asked him, “Why don’t you listen to me? Can you hear me?” and he said, “I can’t, because I have little ears and a little head!” How do you argue with that? :)

Anyway 7-14 kids she said, I think she will be this generation’s mia farrow who also had 4 bio kids and adopted 10 kids, I read recently.
