"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

CBB’s Danielle on USA Today site; different kinds of celebrity moms!

USA Today did a story on celebrity moms and turned to our publisher Danielle as thesole expert, basing the entire story on her analysis of different kindsof celebrity parenting styles. Danielle provided her take on the different kinds of celebrity moms; from earthy moms like Julia Roberts, to rocker moms like, Gwen Stefani.

How to spot an earthy mom, like Julia Roberts?

This is kind of ‘crunchy’ or ‘attachment’ parenting. They wear their babies a lot; the children may co-sleep. The parents are into organic products, clothes and food, and may be active with environmental causes. And the earthy moms aren’t doing it because it’s hip. It’s not a fashion statement for them.

Or a rocker mom, like Gwen Stefani?

Rocker moms definitely dress their kids more funky, like the way they dress themselves. A love of music is definitely reflected in their choices. The kids are kind of a billboard for their interests.

As usual, the gorgeous Angelina Jolie takes the cake; not fitting into any category. Danielle says about Angelina;

[She is a] modern-day Josephine Baker. She is very controversial, beautiful and sexy, a great mom. She’s also very philanthropic.

Check out what Danielle had to say here about the other types of moms, and then come back and leave your comment. Do you think Danielle got it right, and do you have any extra suggestions for any category?

    Excellent visibility! Good job! I agree with most of your assessments, but I’m not sure I would put Heidi Klum in the “Flawless Mom” category. Although she does look “immaculate” when she’s out, I don’t think she cares that much about it (i.e. that’s just how pretty she is… she doesn’t need to make herselp up much). Melania Trump, on the other hand, in the same category, DEFINATELY makes herself up to look “immaculate” before she goes out. I think maybe Heidi Klum should be in the High Energy Mom category…though she doesn’t take her kids to Celebrity Kid Events, she’s always out and about with them, taking walks, doing fun, mom things. Great job, though! You hit the nail on the head with all the others! I wonder what type of mom I am!

  2. Natasha Says:

    If Angelina isn’t already obsessed over enough, she just had to have her own category too.

    Oh but other than that, ITA with your choices :)

    Well done!!

    I think Angelina is a High-Energy Mom, and a Flawless Mom, as well as being in a class all her own.
