Poppy Montgomery slips up on the Today Show — it’s a boy!
Pregnant Australian actress Poppy Montgomery (Without a Trace), 32, made an appearance on Channel Nine’s Today Show yesterday morning (Australian time). Poppy and her actor boyfriend Adam Kaufman announced last week that they are expecting their first child in December. While being interviewed on the show, Poppy slips up and announces the sex of the baby — it’s a boy!
Hosts: How far along are you? When are you due?
Poppy: Four and a half months. December. I’m not allowed to give the exact date…I’m keeping it a little secret.
Lisa: Are you close to Christmas? Mine is on the 19th.
Poppy: I’m close to Christmas, I’m close to you in fact…well he’s close to…oh see I just gave that away too. I couldn’t wait, I can’t even like keep secrets when I’ve bought someone a present and I tell them the week before when I got ‘em. So I had to find out, so we’re having a boy, which we’re really excited about!
And Poppy’s boyfriend, Adam, is thrilled.
Thrilled. Yes, [he is] really happy.

She must be due in Nov or not 4 & 1/2 months. I am 15 weeks & due Dec 10. How can she be due close to Christmas & farther along than me? I am almost 4 months.

I was gonna say the same- I am 14 weeks and I am due dec 20 so mmmm methinks she is working the dates! LOL
I cant believe that she knows the sex already!

I agree! I am 17 weeks and due November 29th. In order for her to know the sex already I would say she is about a week ahead of me! Which would indeed make her 4 and a half months along. No way is she due end of December!

Not that it’s that important but Poppy is not 32 as stated but is actually 35. Her birthday was June 19th.

I’m so jealous of her belly! I am 14 weeks and due on Dec. 21 and don’t have any belly yet.
I don’t understand either how she can be 4 1/2 months already. I’m only 3 1/4 months and if she is due in December she can’t be more than 3 weeks ahead of me!
By the way, an early u/s can show the sex. I found out at my 12-week ultrasound that we are having a girl!

She could have had a CVS test or amnio and that’s how she knows the sex already. She is in the age that they’d ask you about taking them. Also, like a lot of the celebrities, she probably will give dates a little off, so she isn’t hounded right before she has it.
