The baby looks exactly like Tiger!! Same lips, hairline, etc. In the one picture it looks like she has very long fingers and feet, not sure if its the picture or not. They look like a cute family.

They all look so happy! Elin looks like she has bounced back pretty quickly- after i delivered, my face still looked so fatigued for weeks after! lol

She is so adorable….I would put her weight at under 8 lbs. My niece was 8lbs 5oz when she was born, and Sam looks much smaller than that!

That pic with the dogs is cute! The dark-colored one has this look on its face like “What is my daddy holding?” and he looks curious! That white dog is gorgeous, does anyone know what breed it is?

Oh.My.Goodness…Sam is absolutely gorgeous! I was just waitin on the edge of my seat for our first picture of her and oh my these just bring tears to my eyes! This is one of the most beautiful families and honestly, photo shoot or not–Tiger and Elin just look completely in love with her! And at least from these first pictures, she does look just like daddy…I cannot wait to see her grow up…

I can’t believe how much she looks like him. She has a lot of heritage in her; she’s a beautiful little girl! I wonder if he’s already tried sticking a driver in her tiny hand yet!

I think the border collie is called ‘TAZ’ and he was Tiger and Elin’s first baby, he is bound to be curious as to who this new person is!
Must say it is very nice of the Woods family to share their newborn with the World, don’t they look so happy!?
Elin seems to be quite wary of not becoming too public, like other sports wives’ so I wondered if she would be in the pictures or not. I think they did a perfect job of including her but not making her feel too uncomfortable.
Right now Sam is just her daddy’s image but I bet as she grows she starts taking on her mothers features too.
Maybe Elin is one of those mums like Angelina that does not only deck a girl out in pink. I mean with the name Sam and blue border you might think the baby is a boy. My poor daughter would scream ‘girl’ although I draw the line at hairbands! lol
Just looking at the pictures make me feel happy that there are some celebs out there that are truly in love and happy.

We’ve got a daddy’s girl. She is precious. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a baby with a hairline like that. In a matter of months she will have a head full though.

She’s precious! And she does look like the spitting image of Tiger right now, but she has great genes to inherit from both of her parents.

I am in love with that second photo. I’m always going to be a sucker for smiling/sleeping babies, or a baby smiling in his/her sleep. ♥ Sam Alexis is beautiful.
And the dogs crack me up. The border collie is staring at the baby like, “What is she doing in my spot?” While the labradoodle is all like, “Hey, did you get my good side?” All about the spotlight,lol.

OMG, that baby is adorable. I don’t give a hoot for golfing, but during a time when our so-called sports idol’s(Tom Brady, A Rod)are anything but, it’s refreshing to see Tiger Woods so obviously delighted to be a new daddy. I love how their other ‘children’ are draped across him also, not to be left out, LOL. Congratulations to them!

Beautiful little girl. She’s a clone of Tiger! I can’t see any of Elin in her at all. Her hair reminds me of my uncle, who’s almost 40 and going bald
My, my, what big feet she has! When I was born the first thing the nurse said was, “She has big feet!” I used to be self-conscious about them but now I think big feet are beautiful. Hope she learns to love her feet!

My daughter had the EXACT same hairline–no worries, it evens out by about 6 months or so!
What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL family (dogs too)! What I love about Tiger and Elin is that they don’t go parading around seeking attention and acting irresponsibly. After all, they don’t have to. His natural talent doesn’t need to be validated by anyone! Definitely my favorite celebrity family…

Lovin’ the sleeping baby picture. I noticed her long fingers and long feet right away too, mostly because I gave birth to a daughter with long fingers and feet! The nurses’ first comments to me were, “She has really big feet!” I was worried at the time but her feet are in proportion to her body now. She is tall for her age, so she would look funny with tiny feet.
I notice Tiger has very long fingers too (the better to grip a golf club with!) Does anyone know if Elin is tall too? I don’t know much about her.

Wow, I didn’t notice at first that she had such long fingers. According to palmistry, long figures signify wisdom, detail orientation, and an analytical personality. I like to study a baby’s features and try to predict what they’ll be like as an adult.

Maybe its just me, but I could never have those dogs so close to my new baby. I know some people out there consider their pets “family” and that’s all well and good, but they can sit on the floor next to the chair as opposed to on Tiger’s lap while he’s holding the baby.

Awww. What a cutie little Sam is. Looks just like her daddy!! You can tell by those pics that she is going to grow up gorgeous and intelligent. I really love the pic with the two dogs especially. The border collie is not so sure how to react with the new little one, but the labradoodle seems to enjoy the baby. It’s so cute to see the entire family, mom, dad, the two adorable pups, and the newborn baby girl. I love seeing babies and dogs together. It’s the cutest thing that anyone can ever see.

Tiger and I share a birthday (Dec 30.. different years though) and now his daughter and my little sister share a birthday (different years again)!! I feel oddly connected to this family, hehe.

Emay- I personally do not see anything wrong with the dogs being so close to the baby. I agree that it isn’t a good idea to leave a newborn alone with dogs, but I think that, since Tiger and Elin were with Sam and the dogs, it was okay. After all, if one of the dogs had started to show signs of harming the baby (which I doubt, both dogs look like they wouldn’t hurt a fly, let alone a baby), they would have stepped in immeditely and seperated the dogs from the baby.

Wow – that baby is a little Tiger. I can’t believe that with Elin’s Scandinavian genes, the baby didn’t end up looking more like her! Maybe her hair and/or skin will lighten as she grows. It’s always interesting to me to see children of mixed race couples, as you never know who the baby will resemble more!

Ha! My first baby was born 20 years ago on June 18, just like Sam Alexis.
Tiger and Elin allow all of us some celebrity fantasy life. It’s rare these days to see such a gorgeous, talented couple appear to be perpetually happy and totally devoted to each other and the idea of family.
Tiger sure has big daddy shoes to fill as he thinks about being a father. Good for him. I’m sure he’ll be great at it.
Now aren’t we all dying to see this little girl grow up and swing a club?

This is for the author of the blog. In your opening statement about the pictures of the baby, you said “…introduced HE and wife Elin’s new daughter…” C’mon!! Take it apart and it reads “…introduced HE…new daughter…” Does that make sense to you??
If you’re going to write on-line PLEASE use correct English!! It should have read “…his and wife Elin’s new daughter…” Taken apart it would be “…his…new daughter…” which is correct. Also take sentences apart to see if you are using correct pronouns. Otherwise leave the writing to people who know correct English.
