Antonio Banderas doesn’t spoil kids
Catherine Zeta-Jones isn’t the only star concerned about spoiled Hollywood children. Her Zorro co-star Antonio Banderas shares the same sentiment and says he tries to keep his children, daughter Stella, 10, and step-kids Dakota, 17, and Alexander, 22, with wife Melanie Griffith, as grounded as possible.
I don’t give them whatever they ask for – they have to earn it. I tell the kids the world is not Hollywood. I’vetaken them to Mexico and Argentina when I’ve been making movies thereso they could see how kids in different countries live. They’ve seen the shanty towns. I don’t wantthem to think that the world is just full of beautiful cars and housesand everything you want.

BRAVO, Antonio! What a caring, smart, aware, and involved dad. I’ve admired him and his work for many years. I wish him and his family the very best!

All celebrities say their kids aren’t spoiled but most of them are because they are used to the lifestyle lol. And by working hard they mean, they usually hook up their kids in the acting world lol.

Yes, that’s nice… but I don’t think his children want for much. I happen to know they have a vacation home in Aspen, CO and that is no shanty town in Mexico, let me tell you!
I hope his children do appreciate what they have and share their wealth with others. Generousity and kindness will bring them much more joy and satisfaction than money.
