Drea de Matteo believes she and longtime boyfriend Shooter Jennings will welcome a daughter in December, but what is the basis for her prediction?

Mark at the Boston Globe tells us that it’s most definitely a girl — grandma spilled the beans! Donna de Matteo, a playwright with a show currently running in Gloucester, MA, told the paper,
Drea’s job now is to withstand these nine months, and have a beautiful baby girl.

I think the CBB needs to learn the difference between “sex” and “gender;” confusing the two is a very common mistake here.
Sex refers to biological differences: sex organs, hormones, chromosomes, etc, while gender refers to the socially constructed roles, characteristics and behaviors that are considered appopriate for men and women.
A baby in the womb has a sex, not a gender.
