"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Cleanwater Infant Tub: Got Temp?

31v9q0soll__aa250_How many times have you hunched over the side of your bathtub, submerging your hand in the water or in your infant tub? You are trying to make sure the water is the perfect temp for your baby – while you struggle to hold your little one with your other hand. The mom-run company 4 Moms wants to change that. The Cleanwater is a infant tub that has a digital thermometer built in. This company was founded in 2005 by a group of four moms (who have 13 children between them- including 3 sets of twins!).

The Cleanwater Infant Tub is a little different than your standard infant tub. The attachable thermometer that will tell you if the water is a) Too cold (it flashes blue), b) just right (it flashes green) or too hot for baby (it flashes red and beeps). The company says if the temperature water goes off, turn off the water and remove baby from the tub.The water, instead of immediately filling the tub, goes into a reservoir first and then circulates to cradle your babe. Dirty soapy water is filtered out the sidewall drains (giving you clean water!).

I really liked this tub. You can use it from birth, until your baby can sit up on their own. It will go in your tub or sink or you can put on an attachment that will help you rest it on a double sink. The included shampoo rinse cup has two places to rest on the tub. Good accessory!!!  I tested it out with my son Ben. At 19 months, he is definitely too old for it. But since he is on the thin side and is going through a hating the bath phase, I decided to try it. He liked crouching in it and dipping the shampoo bottles in the reservoir. He actually cried when I made him get out of it (I had even unplugged the drains and let all the water out). The company recommends keeping to the age requirements (so don’t do what I did). Knowing the temperature of his bath was great, even though the company also recommends still testing the water with your hand.

However, I was surprised that the digital thermometer came unstuck so often. I installed it easily, but during the last part of Ben’s bath, the unit keep detaching. When I checked it out, the double stick tape on my model was coming off.  Please find a way to make the thermometer snap in, 4 Moms. You’ve got a great product here!

The Cleanwater Infant Tub retails for around $39. For the older babies/kids, 4 Moms also has Digital Bath Spout Cover with a built-in thermometer. It attaches to your faucet and tells you the safe temp for your children’s bath. It retails for around $29. To buy the Cleanwater Infant Tub, click here.
