"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Gretchen Mol: ‘We all got here somehow, and it’s all natural’
Actress Gretchen Mol, 34, who’s expecting her baby boy — ‘as far as we know, unless the doctors are wrong‘ — in mid-September, is currently experiencing the bane of many mom-to-be’s existence — unsolicited advice. However, Gretchen finds that a morsel from mom about the women who have gone before seems to be the best.
Advice is coming at me from all directions, and in a way, it’s hard to sift it all down. I feel like the best advice is trust your instincts. The best advice is probably from my mom: ‘We all got here somehow, and it’s all natural.’
I think that’s probably the best advice to hang onto when you start getting freaked out about any of it, whether it be the birth or the pregnancy or the weird things happening. How do you know how do to that? I think you just trust that somehow we all made it. You look around, and there’s tons of people moving around the world.
The Ten star, who says she ‘doesn’t feel right‘ about choosing a moniker for her son before his debut, reveals that she and husband, director Tod ‘Kip’ Williams, have ‘gone through tons of names‘ anyway.
[I'm looking forward to] just meeting him. No name. I have a feeling I’m going to end up with a short list –- and then finally see who he is, and hopefully he’ll say ‘I’m so-and-so.’ I have so many girls names that I love, but boys names I find a little more difficult.

Jason Priestley wants to ’soak it all in’
Actor Jason Priestley, 37, and his wife Naomi Lowde Priestley welcomed daughter Ava Veronica four weeks ago, and as previously mentioned, have bucked a Hollywood trend by deciding to go nanny-free. The decision to do it themselves was an easy one, says Jason, because participating allows him to experience every aspect of fatherhood.
I love being a father. It’s totally ineffable. I love changing diapers. I love the whole thing — I’m all in. The time we’re going to get to spend with our daughter actually beingan infant is so short that I really want to have that time with her. The fractured sleep that you get, the whole experience– I really want to have it all and soak it all in.
Although forever immortalized as 90210’s Brandon Walsh, Jason continues to act, most recently in his new series Side Order of Life, which came at the perfect time — it allowed Jason a paternity leave.
My wife and I were planning on having a child this summer, so when Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen, our executive producers, started talking to me about doing ‘Side Order,’ the timing of it worked out perfectly for me. I knew that I’d be at home for the first four months of Ava’s life.

Brewers’ Scott Linebrink and wife welcome daughter
Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Scott Linebrink’s wife, Kelly, was induced on Monday, July 30 to give birth to the couple’s first child on his off-day. However, the couple’s new daughter, Ellie Jane, had a different idea and was born the following day, Tuesday, July 31, by Cesarean section.
Ned Yost, manager for the team, spoke with the new father and reported that,
It was a rough time for them.
In the meantime, the 30-year-old will be away from the team until Friday as he spends time with his family.

Samantha Harris discusses baby names, hosting gigs
E! News and Dancing With The Stars co-host Samantha Harris, 33, who previously mentioned that she and husband Michael want to stay in the dark about their baby’s sex, says that they are finished planning in other areas — like names.
Because we aren’t finding out what the sex of the baby is before the delivery, we have one boy’s name and one girl’s name chosen.
Samantha, who is 7 months along, doesn’t plan on slowing down until her baby’s arrival this fall — unless the baby-to-be tires her out.
I’m basically planning to be at Dancing with the Stars and E! News for as many days as I’m feeling up to it. I will make sure I’m back as soon as possible.

Marcia Cross on bringing the twins to work
Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross, 45, has enjoyed her maternity leave and is now back at work on-set, exercising her right to bring her babies, Savannah and Eden, 5 months, with her a few times a week.
I had them come with me last week. I think if I have one fullday, then the next day they have to come with me [to work] because Ican’t not see them for that long. When they’re with me [on-set], that’s challenging, but whenthey’re not with me…I’m a new mother, that’s what it is, it’s allchallenging.
One challenge is the ability to allow friends on the cast and crew to spend time with the girls without overwhelming and overstimulating them.
I’m trying tokeep them slightly sequestered because everybody’s [loud and excited to see them]. [The twins] want to scream.

We had him at home, which was nice, because I knew where the beer was.
Dave and Ashley also have fraternal twin girls Grace Anne and Stella Busina,5 1/2.
