Amy Winehouse wants to have children ’soon’

Amywinehouseandblake Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch says that his daughter and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil definitely have babies on the brain, and that the new couple are "thinking of having children soon."

She is all caught up in her career at the moment but she often talks about wanting a baby.  You just never know what she’s going to do next.  Amy will probably want to carry on writing and singing so I’ve told her I’d help out with a baby…I wouldn’t want Amy to have a nanny, we’ll give her all the help she needs.

Amy — who has said previously that she was born to be a wife and a mother — married Blake in May.

Rendell Signs Bill Allowing Public Breast-Feeding

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) – July 9, 2007 – A measure to protect women from being charged with violating state or local laws when breast-feeding in public places was signed into law by Gov. Ed Rendell, his office said Monday.

Local governments may not prohibit public breast-feeding, whether or not the mother’s breast is concealed, and the act cannot be considered indecent exposure, obscene or sexual conduct, or a nuisance. The law was signed Sunday and took effect immediately.

“I’m very excited,” said Sen. Connie Williams, D-Montgomery, the prime sponsor, calling it “something that seems to be so commonsensical.”

As of May, 38 states specifically allowed women to breast-feed in any public or private location, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. The new law makes Pennsylvania the 39th.

Rendell also signed into law Sunday new penalties for boating under the influence, biannual licensing of volunteer physicians and a $5 million appropriation for the attorney general’s Office of Consumer Advocate.

Does Amy know she’s going to have to cut down on the drinking if she gets pregnant?

  3. Spiff Says:

Considering she’s an admitted alcoholic and drug user, that seems pretty scary!

Hopefully she’ll get her act together before getting pregnant…

  4. Autumn Says:

Maybe the idea of having kids is the inspiration Amy needs to clean up her act.

(BTW I still think she seems like the long lost child or grandchild Phil & Ronni Spector might’ve had together.)

  5. Hollister Says:

uuuuhhhhhh, she just cancelled all concert appearances for 2 weeks due to “exhuastion,” and in the rock star world we all know what that means.
