Adam Sandler’s thieving dog
Matzoball is quite the kleptomaniac. Adam Sandler tells People that his beloved bulldog, which wife Jackie Titone gave to him as a wedding present, loves to seize 14-month-old Sadie Madison’s toys – and do much more.
I must say that Matzoball has been very sweet to my daughter, but initially she was a little heartbroken, wondering why all the attention wasn’t on her anymore. But they are sharing attention. Now that my daughter is crawling, she kind of crawls up on my dog and gives her a little rub. The dog steals my kid’s toys on occasion. That is her big move: She sees my daughter having fun with a toy; the next day we will find the toy beat up with mucus on it. We only find the squeaker if Matzoball burps.
Working "a lot less" since becoming a dad, Adam also mentions that he wants to spend every waking minute with his daughter – even when she’s sleeping.
I drive my friends crazy when I am like, ‘We got to get there! She is going to sleep!’ My friends are like, ‘So what?’ ‘You don’t understand, I got to see her.’ Even when she is sleeping, I am like, let me make a noise and wake her up, just so I can hang with her a few more minutes. My wife hates that.

How about a poll option – Just once or twice.
Sarah’s note: We can’t go back and change categories once it’s been posted, but the ‘they used to’ category would work for once or twice, I think!

I’ve heard to put vanilla extract on the dog’s toys so they know which ones are theirs.

Don’t know about the whole toynapping by the pets, but I love how he can’t stand to miss a minute of time with Sadie.

It’s cute how he talks about her. He must adore her. But how come he never says her name.. Either, “the kid” “my kid” or “my daughter”

I think it’s sweet he calls her “the kid” but this is the first time he’s referenced her as “my daughter” I don’t know why it’s so important that he calls her Sadie?!
Adam’s probably a sweet father. He look so gentle.

In regards to Adam not saying his daughter’s name during interviews, I tend not to say my children’s names and husband’s name when talking to people I don’t know. Maybe Adam is the same way. He doesn’t know the people that are interviewing him so he just generalize the people in his life (his wife, daughter, mom) so the interviewer can understand who he is talking about.

one big thing I did was NEVER get a stuffed toy for a dog… rubber squeak toys, sure… other than that, hard bones, etc.
Even rope toys… but NEVER soft toys… because they can’t differentiate easily between theirs and baby’s.
It’s easier to just leave all soft ones for baby.
Another thing… we don’t allow the dog (a big dog) into our bedrooms… so any toys that are out in the rooms the dog is in are with people right there… so if she were to get too tempted, then we could discipline her.

I agree with the “kid” comment I also don’t use names if people don’t know my family. He has a tee shirt that has a picture of Sadie on it and under the photo it says “the kid”..I think that is so funny. I am 44 y/o and my mom still calls me kiddo. Lighten up people, he loves his daughter and that is what matters!
