Featured Review: Patricia Ann Designs

Patricia Ann Designs (AKA P.A.D.) is known for their fabulous plush products for the hip baby and toddler. Their logo is a frog and a bunch of lily pads (get it – P.A.D.?). The three year old company is named for owner Shelly Ann Bostrum and her mother Mary Patricia (they are the Patricia Ann in the name).  P.A.D. offers yummy blankets, burpcloths, changing mats, travel silkies (security blankets), stroller blankets, car seat covers, shopping cart covers, and reversible bibs. The patterns are unique and very cute, check out the Giraffe collection (pictured to the left), Pony Collection, Pink Chocolate Hibiscus, and the fun Woody Collection.  You can get all of their products in each collection. They even make large 5′ by 7 ‘ blankets for mommy too!  How awesome would it be to curl in in one of these during a rare nap on the couch?

Patricia Ann Designs has also gifted many celebrities with their products. They also sent Kristy Swanson and partner Lloyd Eisler a gift for new baby Magnus, born in February.  They received items from the Harlee Collection (motorcycles, flowers and palm trees on a sky blue background). For Russell Crowe and wife Danielle Spencer’s new arrival last summer, P.A.D. sent them a stroller blanket, burp cloth set and travel silkie in the Pony print with sky blue trim. The couple sent a note saying,

I checked out the Cafe Au Lait Monochromatic Ruffled Travel Silkie ($30). Lined with Minky, a plush micro-fiber fabric, it measures 19′ x 22′ and is backed and trimmed with satin. I also saw the luxurious Giraffe Burpcloth ($29 for 3 or $10 each). The soft burpcloth has the soft faux giraffe fabric that any babe would love to snuggle against.
