"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Joel Madden denies shopping at Petit Tresor

Tags: Dads, News, Quotes

Although he refrains from confirming that girlfriend Nicole Richie is, indeed, pregnant, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden has dismissed reports that the couple were recently patrons at Petit Tresor, a frequent pit stop for pregnant celebrities.  In a post to his MySpace page, Joel — who quit smoking seven days ago — declares that he’s "never heard of the boutique Petit Tresor."

We’ve never been there and never bought anything from there.  Because we don’t comment on rumors, I guess some publicists thought they could get some free, much-needed help and attention marketing their store and …cheesy products.

Nicole is due in January.  Although it appears that Joel has removed the post in question, a screen capture of the entry is available here

I don’t know much about him but I love what he said! Petit Tresor is always trying to get publicity, I’ve been doubting the information they send out about celebrities for a while now. If I was a celebrity I certainly wouldn’t shop there.

  2. jen Says:

Off the subject, but where can you order the Hotsy Totsy Town pattern of the Max Daniels blankets. I can’t find it at either place listed in the post. Also how much is the security blanket size?

  3. Devonn Says:

So did Joel & Nicole ever confirm the baby? Something about this guy i’ve never really liked.

Sarah’s note: No, they will not talk about it. Joel’s been asked multiple times and refuses to answer.

  4. Lissette Says:

cheesy products…ouch! that was funny. good for him for commenting on it. I cant wait to see what Nicole’s baby shower will be like!

  5. Ingeborg Says:

If this pregnancy has not been confrmed how can you know that she is due in January?

Sarah’s note: We have sources we use that have yet to be incorrect. We wouldn’t post it on the site unless we were sure of it — it would be marked rumor instead. You can click the first link to read the original post with the information.

Stupid Petit Tresor. Don’t they realize everyone can see throught their BS? Why would any celeb actually shop there, when they blab to everyone? I’m sick of them and their PR nonsense, and would be happy to never see their name on your site again!

  7. Becky Says:

I can’t wait to see a picture of Nicole with a big baby bump! At the moment I can’t seem to get my head around the idea of her being pregnant!

  8. Jessica L. Says:

If this is true, I cannot for the life of me understand why Petit Tresor would continue to lie about celebrities shopping at their store and release these long lists of the things they “bought”. I’ve been to their website and although they are out of my price-range, they do have many adorable things for babies. Things that if I could afford and had a celebrity’s budget, I would buy. But this business of constantly lying is terrible PR for them and is going to keep people, celebrities and regulars alike, from shopping there. I just don’t get it.

  9. Lauren Says:

God, this store is so lame. Completely fabricating stories about celebrities shopping at their store? Isn’t advertising what celebrities buy there, making up fake baby registries (they made one online for Marcia Cross, and her rep later said she definitely was not registered there), and marking everything at least 20% above suggested retail value to make themselves look uber-special enough? They need to get over themselves!
