Duchess Camilla to become grandma twice
The Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker-Bowles and wife of Prince Charles, will become a grandmother twice in the next year. Some days ago, Camilla’s daughter, Laura, announced to News of the World that she was pregnant with her first child. Laura was quoted as saying,
I am three-and-a-half months pregnant. Everyone’s absolutely delighted. It’s all very exciting.
She also confirmed that the baby is expected for January 2008. Laura and husband Harry Lopes, ex-model for Calvin Klein and accountant, married in May 2006. Harry is the grandson of Lord Astor of Hever and studied at Eton (as Princes William and Harry) and University of Edinburgh. More information about it can be found at The Royalist.
Laura’s brother, Tom Parker-Bowles, and wife Sara Buys, a fashion journalist for Harper’s, annnounced in March that they are expecting their first child in September.

Would it be improper to say that Prince Charles is about to become a grandfather too? My grandparents consider their step-grandchildren their own, even though their biological grandparents are also involved in their lives…not criticizing, just curious for people’s thoughts on this.

Congratulations to the happy couple!!! I find however that the press is touting Charles as the Grandfather and no mention is made of Andrew Parker-Bowles.Just because his ex wife married the Pow does not mean that the press should forget to congratulate him on becoming a Grandfather twice within a year.

This is Cool. But please tell me why didn’t you post about the Douchess of Wessex, Sophie expecting her 2nd child also around the same time, I sent you an email with the link to the official word from the Palace and from Sky News.
