Simo…I have heard the EXACT same thing. Some people just love to turn a “eh” story into something that suits their liking. Sure, Britney has made some mistakes, but who hasn’t? I know I am not the world’s most perfect Mother. And, I don’t really think anyone is. I am not a big Britney fan, but I am getting really tired of seeing all these negative comments of people judging the heck out of her. The only one who can judge any of us is God, and I don’t think any of you are Him. I just wish people would think before they type. Really, at the end of the day, those kids are fine, and why does it really bother any of us what she does? We don’t personally know her, and she hasn’t done anything to us personally. I just wish most people still had a warm heart and would think before going on a rant about how horrible she is. Because really, how do any of you know how she is behind closed doors? We see what the paps want us to see…and that is a horrible monster. They are succeeding at doing their best to trash her, but I will not.

The media and the public always think they know what is best for a celebrity. Not too long ago, Britney was being encouraged to dump Kevin because they assumed to know that he was the problem, Kevin was made a villain and Britney was not held accountable for her behaviour.

Fast forward a few months with kevin unceremoniously dumped with fanfare and celebration by the tabloids, blogs and pubic, Britney has been on a free fall ever since. Kevin as days go by and events unfold is looking more and more like the responsible party.

The media always comes up with all these titles of American Princess, American sweetheart always at the suggestion of the PR people and the public always buy into such manufactured images and demonize the celebrities who live honestly and are not afraid to show their mistakes and live by their own dictates. Time and time again, when you take away the PR gimmicks, you find out there was never much to these celebrities to start with.

Britney is a no talent singer who got lucky and made hit songs and got very rich in the process. It is amusing to see how much excuses people are still making for her as she continuously put her children in danger, I know of some actress, if she had done half of what Britney have done, people will be demanding that Congress make it illegal for her to live in this country. It is good to know that the media and the public are wrong most of the time when they choose who to elevate and who to demonize.

I’m not confused about how I perceive Britney and I do see your point about her wanting attention. I don’t have that much sympathy for what is photographed if in fact she is asking for the attention by calling people and informing them of where she’ll be. Still there is a limit and a line that shouldn’t be crossed.

I am reacting to the fact that people are always specualting on what her problems and issues are and making judgements without knowing or understanding her situation. We just see snapshots and read rumors until she gives an interview. Like I said, I am not especially a fan of hers but she is a human being and she deserves some empathy as she is clearly sufferring through something.

I simply stated that no one has the right to judge her in these predicaments except a legal judge in the court of law. (since this forum is specifically about whether she violated child custody arrangements) From the excerpt I read here, I cannot even form an opinion because child custody battles are a personal and usually private matter protected by the legal system. We only get part of the story. After reading the excerpt, I only felt sad for her and wish her well. It’s obvious to me she doesn’t have her act together and she seems like a very sensitive person which may cause her to react more to the public. She could be acting out lots of things, I don’t know. I just hope that she finds the help she obviously needs and that she and her boys remain safe.

lilkunta – If you read my comment correctly you would see that I have full custody so the papers state that. I need absolutely no permission from my child’s biological father to travel anywhere at any time.

As far as the rest of my post I’m commenting on the topic. If it didn’t say anything about custody issues then I wouldn’t be saying Britney shouldn’t be taking the kids to Vegas without permission. Joint custody means that each parent needs to know/agree upon where the kids are going to be.
If someone has a link that they could post saying that Kevin knew about this and it was legit then my post would be different.

Britney’s only in her twenties. She’s still has got to learn more about responsibilaties.
But with all this poperotsie, it isnt easy for her to deside whats right and wrong.

Britney was trying her best to keep her beloved sons safe as she can.. I go with the latter.

Prior to Ronald Reagan taking office, people like Britney would have been carted away to an institution after shaving their heads and beating a car with an umbrella. Now they are left outside to their own devices, unhelped, to become addicted to drink and drugs, and spiral out of control. Rehab was a size XS band-aid trying to heal a huge wound that keeps on hemmorhaging. Britney needs real deep help, but thanks to The Gipper she has to ask and go voluntarily!

Extra is reporting Kevin didn’t know the kids were in Las Vegas, and if that’s the case, than she was wrong because the kids weren’t supposed to be out of state. And poor Sean got hit when britney’s bodyguard and the paparazzi got into it, that is so sad. Both her boys are beautiful and I’ve always been a britney fan, but I hope she dosen’t continue to make poor choices, those babies are precious and innocent.

Pressi,I agree with you. She does everything for attention.I don’t feel sorry for her when she is doing stuff like she is.She has driven away everyone that was close to her and she does random odd things like swimming in just her underwear, going out every night and let’s not talk about sending a letter to her mom to upset her.She needs help.if Britney was a regular person, her kids would have been taken from her along time ago.
