Larry Birkhead ‘thinking big’ for Dannielynn’s party
Larry Birkhead is sounding more and more at ease in his role as father to 10-month-old daughter Dannielynn, telling reporters at The Bourne Ultimatum premiere last night that "it’s cool to be a dad." In a refreshing bit of honesty, however, Larry added that even he is prone to the pitfalls of life with a baby.
She actually spit up on my jacket I was going to wear, so I had to take it off and do a quick change.
Dannielynn is still teething, and she continues to beat up on her dad, with Larry joking that he’s living "in defense mode." Nonetheless, the single dad says he is already "thinking big" for Dannielynn’s first in September, and it is clear that the party will be a hot ticket among the toddler set.
Her mom called her princess, so [I'm thinking of doing] something kind of Disney princess, or Hello Kitty — something real cool, so she can look back on it and say ‘What a cool party.’
The only lady in my life is my daughter, and she takes all of my time, and that’s all that I need right now — Making up for lost time. We’re just having fun together and hanging out.

This has to be the cutest daddy/daughter duo out there. Larry looks like he’s doing a great job and should be very proud of how he’s handling things. Dannielynn looks just like a mixture between her mom and dad. I have a feeling that Anna would be quite happy with how her daughter is being raised. Way to go Larry. He has my respect and admiration that’s for sure.

Omg, she looks just like him. Why was there ever any doubt that he was her father. The both look so happy, its to bad her mum wasn’t here to see it. RIP anna nichole

Lordy that is one beautiful child! Especially those close ups of her in her crib with the crazy hair (I assume it had just been toweled). I’m sad for her that her mother is missing these moments with her, but for all that went down I’m so happy she’s looks so elated and well cared for. I’m glad Larry and Howard let it all go for her sake and are working together for her benefit. She deserves all the love and care in the world.

They look cute together in that third shot, but I love the wet and wild hair. And she has the biggest, prettiest blue eyes for a baby! Her eyes are gorgeous!
Judging from the the second and fourth photo, they seem to lighten and darken depending on the lighting.

I don’t know why but the picture with Dannielynn and her finger in her mouth, what a precious picture! She’s so freakin’ adorable it’s unreal. I love her crystal blue eyes and those cheeks!

She is just so gorgeous. It is all in her eyes – just so bright and blue.
I do hope he will let her live her childhood as much out of the spotlight as possible but seeing how he keeps popping up in magazines and on ET with her or talking about her I doubt it.

Okay, let say Dannielyn and Malachy Murphy fall in love and have babies in, oh, 25 years or so. Can you imagine the blue eyes of those combined genes? I don’t know if we could handle the beauty!

I am sorry but Larry is just milking that little baby for all she’s worth. She’s a cash cow to him. You can’t deny a parent parental rights nowadays so Anna Nicole would not have been able to deny Dannielynn a relationship with her father.

I cannot get over how much this little girl looks like her daddy! That is why the whole paternity thing was so sad to me because it was completely obvious that Larry Birkhead was the baby’s daddy. I am just glad that everything is going as well as possible for him and that little girl. She deserves the home that she will be raised in by him, one that is hopefully drug free.

I agree, adorable pictures. But, didn’t Larry say that he was going to keep her out of the spotlight? It seems that he is doing interviews/pictures with every news outlet. I’m sure he is getting paid big bucks for this, too. Keep your promises, Larry.

I think she’s an absolute doll. I too hope he lets her have as normal of a childhood as she can possible have. I’d rather see him doing a willing interview/photoshoot than having people stalk him down for the latest photos and information on little Dannielynn though. Honestly, if her mother were still alive, she’d probably be doing a lot worse. Not that I’m trying to speak bad of the dead or anything. I think Larry is doing an excellent job being the best father he possibly can.

I think the way he is allowing photos is actually the right way to do it…. the paps are going to get photos of her one way or another if he tries to lock her away….
this way, he controls what is happening.

I don’t buy that the argument that paps wil chase him down for photos. Larry was a nobody. I don’t think he needs to do a photo spread & interview every 2-3 weeks. Now he’s going to movie premires? WTH?? He wnet from living in a 1 bedroom apartment to a mansion. He used his baby as a ticket to fame & fortune.

She just gets more and more stunning each time I see her. In all the recent photos, they look just so completely in love with one another. It’s so great to see, especially considering what a tragedy this started out as.

She is a beautiful baby—but why do all of these pictures of her show her with no clothes on?? Her father should put some clothes on her if he insist on continuing to put her in these photoshoots.
Of all people, this child needs the chance to live the most normal life as possible AWAY from the media.

Just look at how many comments are on this post. There’s obviously a lot of interest in this little girl. I think people want to know that she’s happy & healthy, especially since the start to her life has been so tragic. I think Larry knows this and wants to show the world that Dannielynn is thriving and well. Good for him if he makes some money in the process, why shouldn’t he? He has to raise a daughter on his own, he needs to make money just like the rest of us. And I’m sure he owes a small fortune in legal bills after all he has been through to get custody of his child. It irks me when people bash him for doing what most of us would do if we were in the same situation. Larry may not have been a “celebrity” before his relationship with Anna, but he was in the Hollywood circle and is a photographer. I don’t agree that he’s “cashing in on fame and fortune.” I wish people could just be happy for him. He appears to genuinely love his daughter and seems to be doing the best he can. I wish them both well.

Put some clothes on her? WTH? What are you implying? She’s in a pool with her father, the other shots look like she just took a bath or is being toweled off after being in the pool. My goodness, it’s not as if you can even see much of her body! Why take something so innocent and put such a sinister spin on it?

Larry so glad you are raising this beautiful little girl. She will always be refered to as Annas little angel,and I am sure you will protect her from guys like Howard,who just wanted to profit on beauty. Hope she follows in her moms footsteps and makes more for herself than just a pretty face. Fame can be confussing and often lead to lots of pain,so keep her away from those who would profit on her beauty. Just enjoy being a dad.

its so great that she has a father that takes such interest in her. its very sad that anna nicole & her son are missing out on such a beatiful thing like her and its sad that she has to grow up without those two people in her life. Its very bizzare how that happened.
