"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Lisa Leslie brings daughter Lauren to game

Los Angeles Sparks player Lisa Leslie brought her 7-week-old daughter, Lauren Jolie Lockwood, and her mom, Chris Espinosa, to the game against the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday, August 7 at the Staples Center.  Lauren’s father is Lisa’s husband, Michael Lockwood.

Lisa wears Lauren in a New Native 100% cotton pouch in moss green ($34). Please note that the pouch Lisa is using looks to be too large for her and we would not recommend that — a snugger fit is much safer.

Ptru13049226dtLauren’s blanket is a Lavender & Sage raised dot sherpa by Cocalo ($20).

Awww! What a beautiful little baby!!! So lovely! (And with a NORMAL name)

  2. Mimi Says:

The sling looks uncomfortable for both mom and baby!

Sarah’s note: Yes, that’s a VERY bad fit. There are much better options out there.

  3. Kate Says:

She looks happy, and the baby is very cute, but I really think she shouldn’t have brought a 7 week old baby to a game. It’s way too loud there…

  4. Xan Says:

Aw, the little girl looks so calm! She’s just hanging out…literally!:)

  5. Renee Says:

Give her a break…she is a new mom. What’s with the attacks about the sling and where she brings the baby?

  6. Amanda Says:

It’s so weird to me how so many celebs wear their babies wrong? You would think they could have a personal tutorial from the sling’s maker or something? Oh well, guess they’re just human like the rest of us…

  7. Amanda Says:

plus, at least she’s trying :)

  8. TRINA Says:

    GIVE HER A BREAK…SHEESH …

I met another mom the other day who actually teaches baby-wearing classes. As a sister of the genius behind “Sidecar Designs” I thought baby-wearing classes sounded kind of silly.

I don’t think people are being too hard on Lisa. If you have any sense at all, you read the instructions and figure it out. Slings are supposed to allow mom to be hands-free. If you have to use your hands to keep your baby from falling out…Yikes!

Besides, lots of moms look up to celebrity-moms and I wouldn’t want anybody thinking that’s normal.

BTW, the baby’s beautiful and has more hair than my 15 month old!

I was just wondering what Tracy ment by “and a NORMAL name?
