I know this is an old post and I never bothered to respond when it was first posted but it has always bothered me that the Angelina quote about her losing weight was misquoted or tampered with. I am not saying it was the CBB crew, it could have been from the source that you’ll got it from but here is what she said:

She said I finished not “just” finished breastfeeding. No one knows how long she breastfed Shiloh. It could very well have been 3 months like the quote said. What I don’t like is the the initial “oh what a bad mother” and then the ” ok, she’s fine she did it for more than a year. It’s as if breast feeding for less than a year makes you an unfit mother.

I hope the staff at CBB does not think I am criticizing them or their site I love this site, but I think you guys need to check up on your sources. Remember your sources were the ones who verified that Shiloh was boy and we all know how that turned out. I hope this gets posted and that there are no hard feelings.

CBB the quote never said “just” I have read that quote several times on different sites on even on television and all it said was “I finished breast feeding”. I am not saying that you all doctored the quote but that it not how it was originally said, so the quote from OK magazine might be correct. No one knows how long Angelina breast fed Shiloh and we don’t know if the OK interview was fake or not because we did not interview her. Also if it were incorrect I think we might have heard from Angelina denouncing the quote.

It is her business no matter how long she or anyone does it for. Who cares anyway. I don’t understand why all the b/f mom’s get so offended by someone who choses to stop early or not do it all. It’s not your child so it’s none of your business! Sorry, just my soapbox, everyone gets so wrapped up in what others chose to do with their OWN children!

Does it really matter if she breastfeed for 3 months, a year or not at all?? Its a personal decision and really no ones business..

Even if this rumour was true and she only did it for 3 months it doesn’t make her any less of a mother. So what is the big deal and why would it be anyone else’s business. Who cares how long she was breastfeeding.

What happened to the “Brad and Angelina take Shiloh and Zahara to the museum” post? I can’t find it.

sheesh, OK! is even more full of crap than I thought it is. I applaud CBB for being one of the few (if not the only) blogs that care about accuracy.

What are the tabloids and the blogs going to do when they don’t have Angelina to lie about any more. You have every Dick, Tom and Harry judging what is best for this young woman.

There was a time you could read an article and accept it without questioning or hear the news on the TV and believe that it is accurate, but these days lies and rumours are being presented as facts, and you have those without a discerning mind who are ready to jump all over this young woman, and they wonder why her fans are so defensive and protective of her.

I have had enough of the new media, just what relevance does Angelina Jolie breastfeeding Shiloh have today. AMH was promoted in May/June where she clearly stated the reasons why she has lost weigh, I don’t see all these blogs putting up those reasons in response to all the wailing that she is skinny, like if she was skinny yesterday then the next day she will become fat.

If there is a concerted effort to see if she is bashed enough, maybe she can be broken down, it is not going to happen.

For those of you who are perfect mothers, breastfed your babies for three years, good for you and your family, now you have achieved something over Angelina even though she never gave the interview and she breastfed her baby a lot longer than that.

CBB usually stay away from this sort of made up interviews, I wonder why this kind of news and why now.
