"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Jools Oliver’s baby workout regime

Chef, Jamie Oliver’s wife, Jools Oliver, 31, has taken to a health and exercise regime in order to get healthy before she attempts to fall pregnant with their next child. Their first daughter, Poppy Honey, 5, was conceived with the assistance of fertility treatment — Jools suffers from polycystic ovaries and the drug Clomid helped them conceive. Daisy Boo, 4, was a surprise — arriving just one year after Poppy’s birth. Jools hopes that if she does get pregnant, the pregnancy and birth will be much smoother if she is fitter.

Jools is determined to get into shape to help her conceive a third child – she and Jamie would love another. [She would like to be] fairly toned and strong for the next baby – apparently it makes for an easier birth.

Jools book about her fertility issues is Minus Nine to One: The Diary of an Honest Mom (from $6.80).

  1. Pien Says:

Actually, the information is incorrect. Poppy was conceived throught fertility treatment but Daisy wasn’t.

  2. Stelly Says:

Actually, if you read the book, Daisy was a complete surprise for them and was not conceived with any type of fertility treatment.

  3. Lilybett Says:

I love Jools and her book. She’s such a funny, sensible mum and wasn’t afraid to make fun of herself or some of her wacky pregnancy and mummy-brain behaviour.

  4. PSB Says:

I always find the English expression to “fall pregnant” so amusing – like as if you’re falling ill with a disease or something. I don’t think I’ll ever get that one.

I love what they name their daughters. Poppy and Daisy are such cute names. I wonder if they have another girl, will they name her Iris or Lily?

  5. Dyane Harwood Says:

Jool’s book is great and there are some cool recipes in the back as well. I defnitely am glad I bought this book.

  6. Zara Says:

I love Jools Oliver – especially after reading her book, which is a fantastic read – very heartwarming, honest and funny.

“[She would like to be] fairly toned and strong for the next baby – apparently it makes for an easier birth.”

This quote made me laugh. OF COURSE being toned and strong will make for an easier pregnancy and birth – hello!!

  7. Jill from Western Australia Says:

    I hope that Jamie and Jools are blessed with a third healthy baby, sadly my daughter had to give birth to my only grandchild Jake who was 9 month/full term but stillborn..I live in hope, but Mandy is now 38. Jools do everything you can to make your pregnancy happen…I will watch with interest. Very best wishes from Australia {I was born in Yorkshire, adopted – Mum had 7 miscarriages followed by a total hysterectomy..Mum, Dad and I came to Western Australia when I was 11 years old.}
